Hi! I've been binging MM for a month, and as of today, I'm 3/4 through season 10. I refuse to calculate how many hours per day that averages out to, because the answer would probably be horrifying, but let's just say MM is all I've been doing with my free time lately.
MM fits perfectly with my passion for ripping yarns that bring contemporary attitudes to bear on the past. How better to do that than through the eyes of William Murdoch, man of science? Of course, it's never so simple, and watching the characters have their beliefs and values challenged is at least half the fun. I also have a passion for TV series that successfully walk the line between comedy and drama, which MM certainly does. And George Crabtree -- I don't know how I've lived this long without him in my life.
What else? I'm American; female; old enough to associate William Murdoch with Artemus Gordon, which makes me ancient in Internet years; and I can't believe my luck that there will be a season 11 to look forward to.

Welcome! You may find the forum a little quiet over the summer unfortunately. I understand the rush of finding this show and binging, I couldn't get enough of it when I first found it.

My partner and I are there right now - literally binge watching and now partly through 10, which I've been kind of saving... (American and female myself, but since I don't get the reference I suppose I'm younger?) Glad to find you folks! Honestly amazed it isn't better known in the US (although maybe understandably so with how it's shown here, though Netflix could promote it more!). I fell asleep with an episode of Newsradio playing, and woke up to Murdoch Mysteries which had somehow shown up on autoplay... So happy it did! (Sidenote: as a Michigander, it's been fun picking out guest stars we're familiar with from *other* CBC shows we've stumbled across over the years! Although I'd love for them to visit Detroit one of these days instead of Buffalo and NYC... That era on screen would be fantastic!)

I take it you're not close enough to the border to get CBC.

Hello! I was in your shoes in December 2015, so I can rather relate. I have to wait a bit longer until I can get into season 10 (I too am a Yank, though my Midwestern manners might pass muster north of the border). Welcome!

Welcome to you all! Now that the new season has started discussion is going to pick up. Feel free to go back into comments from other seasons and add your 2 cents. MM never gets old for any of us. Just be aware that the S11 episode pages WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS.

Hi there everyone. I`m here in the US and I hate the fact that Netflix cancelled Murdoch Mysteries after season 7. I found seasons 1 thru 10 on ACORN and love every episode. I wish they had season 11 avaible now, but I know I have to wait for it. With all this technology we have today I am wondering why I cannot watch CBC channels here in the US. Crazy huh☺ Waiting to hear about the spoilers for season 11 episode 9.
