I saw from the start that the eyes were opposite, couldn't believe that William didn't, not like him to miss the small details. That's because he was too weirded out by that damn doll. Or at least I was. Don't know about weirded out but I hated that dummy!

p.s. you had a name change? DeskSgt.Hodge? You miss him that much, eh? So do I. In honour of Hodge, it won't be the same without him. Good on you to honour him this way. But awww, who do I get to call Talbo(T) now ?

Just going in at day 9 of an episode a day til season 9! I don't remember this episode much. This'll be fun! (5 minutes later.. WAIT OMG THIS IS THE CREEPY PUPPET ONE) 1. I love how nonjudgmental Julia is. When William insinuated the man died due to being an alcoholic and she reminded him they didn't know the cause of death yet. 2. Such a good Jilliam conversation. "For some light summer reading?" "...Yes." Hahaha! Then not to mention when he gets all jealous when Julia is going to go to dinner with Doyle. 3. I felt so sad for both William & Doyle when Doyle asked how to rise above watching his wife die. Gah. 4. I wonder if they ever found Mycroft... I'm sure we never saw him again unless my memory is truly that bad. 5. I could have done without the ghost. It was fine but, meh. Didn't need it. Overall I like this episode. Kinda creepy but a good one

I will say though, that Gavin Crawford, who played Mycroft, was great. He is normally thought of as a comic actor, but showed his range here.....

Not one of my favourites but still good.

I'm not especially fond of this episode, but it does have an exchange that makes me laugh every time:
Doyle: Would someone please put a termite up that puppet's applecart? Mycroft: Oh, now that is just rude! [beat] I have an applecart?
