Murdoch Mysteries motivates me to learn about all kinds of things...but I think wine is my favourite! So you're saying that we need an Ontario wine tour? I'm game! I TOLD you that you should go to Niagara on the Lake!!!!! That said, next year, if daddy is game to hang about with E, we could arrange a girls tour, with an overnight at a B&B and a limo to drive us around. I did that once with my sister's friends and it was a hoot!

The suggestive behavior was fantastic and yes, finally a sign that this is a couple in love as opposed roomies. I won't expect it every episode, but I hope it will be a common feature. Like you, I could also believe that Watts is a wine snob and this episode really was an excellent use of his character. I kinda liked seeing William be wrong and not the expert for once, but in a competitive but non-threatening way. This was a lot of fun! You are William's suit expert...I hadn't noticed the size so much, but I agree with you that he looks better in the more tailored suits. Were the bigger suits more fashionable in 1905? I loved Julia's new lingerie, so pretty...and I rather like brown and blue together, but what I hated was that vest. The jacket, blouse, tie, and skirt were fine...but I want to burn that vest! I doubt it will be common but if we even get a snifter that would be fine with me. I seem to remember YB saying the fitted suits were hot so he'd asked for more room. Unfortunately they went overboard and they're not only baggy but too big, they hang off his shoulders and gape at the neck, very unflattering. I love a suited man, especially three piece, but I'm preferring dressed down W these days as at least the clothes FIT. I hated Julia's new lingerie, it didn't even look like lingerie to me. I have to admit I'm not a fan of brown for anything but natural things (eyes, hair, fur etc. - I'll add leather to that). I've always wondered why people think blue and brown go together, a very unflattering combination to me, but I just can't get around the brown I suppose. I'd just like to burn all the brown outfits! I think it washes her out. I honestly don't even notice William's suits other than the brown ones which annoy me. Is it mostly the jackets that are the problem? I too love a man in a three piece suit but I haven't registered a problem when his jacket is off. Can't say I'm a fan of Julia's new brown wardrobe but the tailoring is exquisite. Truth be told, I have been much more intrigued by Nina's wardrobe for a while now. That black and white corsette number she wore last ep was gorgeous.

Well hello! Here I am back after a long time of forgetting my account and password, and then getting locked out of my account. I pretty much post on MMAS but one can never talk too much MM so here I am again.
I loved the episode. Perfection in everything. EXCEPT - Julia's lingerie. It does not seem to be the type of thing that she would normally choose for herself, especially if she was looking for some cozy time with with William. The thing looked cozy alright, cozy enough to keep her warm and covered in 50 below degrees weather. The scenes with them were adorable especially Julia trying to keep it together with drunk William. She was not the only one giggling. Loved the episode.

See, the only thing I actively hated was her vest. It wasn't flattering to her and was too much. The blouse and tie were gorgeous, and I like brown and blue, so the outfit worked for me save for the vest.

I too hate the brown suits but that goes without saying given my dislike of brown. It is the jackets, not sure if the pants have been changed. They used to fit nicely and if fastened would have fitted the body but not tightly however the newer jackets couldn't possibly be fastened as it would be obvious you could fit another person in there! They hang off the shoulder and gape at the neck. There are one or two that don't but most do. You don't see the brown suit now as it's one of the older fitted suits. It may not even fit him any more however he did put up a photo saying something like it still fits after all these years. I was hoping that meant he was going to WEAR it but it seems not. I used to love Julia's wardrobe, I wouldn't be seen dead in most of it now.

I've organised 2-3 tours of Niagara-On-The-Lake......fairly easy to do with a smaller group.....if you do 3 wineries with a lunch break in town, you can set a good pace without being knackered at the end......Autumn is a good time because the harvest is coming in and there is lots of activity.......

I really loved this episode! It was so funny! Oh...Drunk Murdoch is hilarious! This episode was so perfect. I loved it! It really was. Watts is great, the inspector was funny, Murdoch had me in stitches...
I really loved it. I can't stop saying that. It was so much fun.
I do have ONE question.
What happens in the mortuary, now that Rebecca's left? I wonder who shows up?
First it was Francis, then it was Grace, then it was James...who next?

I'm game! Beth and I did afternoon tea at the Prince of Wales hotel, it was expensive but quite the experience. It may be called afternoon tea but you can book it for any time.

They don't need a 2nd person in the morgue. Julia and Emily didn't previously have assistants, and the only reason Rebecca was one was because Julia wanted to be her mentor. There aren't enough morgue scenes to accommodate another character being added now that Rebecca has left. She didn't get much to do when she worked there and Julia could do with any extra screentime her being solo should provide.
I thought Julia looked nice in this episode and her lingerie was flattering and pretty. I've not had a problem with what she's been wearing.
This episode was better than ep 1, but I could do with less Watts. The case didn't need two detectives.

This was a funny episode. I enjoy light-humoured episodes now and then. I must say Yannik did a great job pulling off a drunk Murdoch. It's how I expected to meet a drunk William LOL. Watts was awesome. Someone mentioned when he threw all of those bit of papers on Brax's desk as THE funniest moment of the show, and I agree. I LMFAO.
I was sad to see Rebecca leave. I really wanted them to develop her character, and of course her love life with her boyfriend Nate. They were an adorable couple. Now I'm going to have to keep my fingers crossed that Watts and Pink will get together LOL.
MM never disappoints. I love this show.

Watts is young and everyone seems to forget that FP is Murdoch's age i.e. around 42.
