I wonder if Julia remembers that she killed a guy in Snakes and Ladders?? Just an FYI from your friendly neighborhood Guardian of the temporal continuum.


LIKE I HAVE A LOT OF FEELS ABOUT THIS EPISODE and it kind of reminded me of What Lies Buried??

I REALLY enjoyed this episode. This was Watts' 'Constance Gardner' moment.

Just like how Murdoch has Gardner, George has Edna Brooks, the Inspector has that harbourmaster lady (forget name?), and Julia has Eva Pierce.

The Marx Twins are Watts' trial by fire or whathaveyou.

And I have to say, I think this episode was just masterfully done. It was both funny, fascinating, thought provoking and genuinely emotional.

Higgins kneeing the detective in the guts was hilarious. Higgins working the garage part-time might be interesting. I'd love to see more of what Ruth is like, now that she isn't some high-class socialite anymore.

This was a really great episode. I loved the scene in the interrogation room between Watts and Murdoch. Very intense. I didn't even guess who the real killer was until almost the final hour. Everything about the episode was brilliant.
