I just love Ruth! The interactions between her and Julia were priceless, especially when her nom de plume was revealed.
As for the main plot, I am glad they didn't get into sexual abuse. And I loved Watts helping that little guy and giving him hope for the future.

So this was a pretty solid episode - It was kind of nice seeing someone from William's past that he didn't particularly like. I gotta update the timeline now!
Particularly loved Ruth this episode - mainly those revelations about her foray into writing!
and Julia's line "Every crime has an author and it's up to you to find a signature" is definitely book worthy!
(totally not suprised that william has already written a lot and most of it's footnotes.)
