Season 12 Finale! (What, already?) From the CBC: Murdoch suspects John is being framed for murder by Inspector McWorthy and Brackenreid goes after the corrupt copper.
John in trouble should bring Margaret back...…..and it looks like they may work the plot between Violet Hart and McWorthy out..... |

Violet's plot has been very sidelined this season - especially in the latter half here.

I wonder if Charles V wants to leave the show. I would prefer to see his character and they gave him enough airtime this year to make it seem like he was a regular.
I loved the final scene with Murdoch and Miss Hart. He is no fool and I hope she looks over her shoulder after this.

While I enjoyed this episode a lot, I also found it very predictable. But then that's just the writer in me talking.

Season 13 needs to have Violet Hart fired and Julia becoming the coroner again. I haven't liked Julia's surgery storyline because it's been mostly pointless to the plots. MM isn't a medical drama and there is no room or scope for a surgeon in almost any episode. I also still dislike how the recurring characters take center stage in almost every episode, MM shouldn't be about them.
I'm hoping S13 see's the end of Violet and Watt's transfers elsewhere. Get back to the main characters and get Julia back in the morgue. A crooked, under-qualified black woman being coroner is one of the most unbelievable things MM has done. The show is jumping the shark too often and it's sad to see.
