Bear with me as I somewhat rant while I explain why it is I can't really stand to watch a show that I really enjoyed anymore, All thanks to one character who at first I had no problem with as I understood her role in the show was to be the whole cliché well they, won't they love interest for Murdoch's character, In order to prove to those who might think otherwise that the smart, progressive, well-dressed and mannered detective was in fact straight
But it wasn't long before I found myself becoming more and more irritated as she began frequently forcing herself into the scenes by popping up out of nowhere just to steal lines or state the obvious until it got to the point where I couldn't even stand her or her breathy nonsense and started skipping through all the scenes that she was in.
And whenever you think you are finally rid of the profession hopping flake she never fails to come back with even more screen time and lines, And apparently it only takes one season studying psychology and then surgery for her character to become the only competent one in those fields in all of Toronto for them to turn to, giving her yet another excuse for more air time. And thanks to her I can't even bring myself to watch the latest season since she has finally completely taken over the show.
Why did they have to kill off Dr. Grace for, she was by far the best female character. Even if she was leaving the show they still could've written her off in a way that left an opening for her to return.

Hi there, that is a huge problem with any successful show on tv. Producers seem to think by introducing new or extra characters it will remain "Fresh" It's a misnomer for me, as we all get used to the them and characters of the show. I've seen it happen to many shows and through choice stopped watching them. N.C.I.S was one that I watched for years until old characters left and new ones brought in. It just wasn't the same any more.
