Absolutely a great work!you can see the main characters together without losing interest in the show!i personally don't like the shows where the male and female lead never come together, for years and years..but really hope Murdoch writers Are for an happy ending for William and Julia..

I am guessing (hoping) that William finds the letter confessing Julia's love, Kaybee, where did you see this about the letter from Julia? I have seen others mention it too but I must have missed it. Do you know which episode it was in? I try to avoid spoilers so don't tend to look for interviews or trailers until after the series. Its a real temptation, but I do like to see how the story unveils as the writers have written it. uktv.co.uk/alibi/stepbystep/aid/642156It's in the episode summary on Alibi's website. It has a couple of little spoilers like that but mostly there's just a general window into the episode without giving much away. I agree that William will probably find it in the next episode because there was nothing about it in the last episode.

Yesterday I heard that CityTV might be putting their air date back for season 4!
They don't say anything on the website about the new season

It's the Canadian network that airs Murdoch and they are part of creating the series

I was wondering when the PM in the interview said the episode he's in wouldn't air until July. I wonder why they'd push the premiere back?

The relationship between William and Julia is so wonderfully complicated. As you’ll recall, in season 3 Julia told William that her abortion resulted in her never being able to have children (the whole dilemma between William’s beliefs regarding abortion and his love for Julia was interesting to observe). Julia knew that William wanted to have children of his own someday. By ending their relationship and moving to Buffalo, Julia was trying to protect William from a life that perhaps would not be as William had imagined (maybe she was thinking that he would be better off with Enid?). Little did she know that William would be willing to adopt a child if it meant spending the rest of his life with the woman he loved.
I can’t wait to see how the story between these two unfolds. I must say, Darcy is a pretty descent fellow and he and Julia certainly have a lot in common. I wonder how the writers are going to get themselves out of this one. I hope that Darcy’s exit (if there is one) isn’t as abrupt as Dr. Francis’.
As to the supposed marriage: are we sure that it involves Julia? Where is this written?

That's a good point actually, it could be someone else, not sure who though.
Someone suggested that it could be Crabtree, maybe him and Ruby Ogden?

If George and Ruby were to get married, that would make for some superbly fun interactions between William and Julia. I think that it is very possible for a George and Ruby wedding. He's such a sweet and kind man. He deserves to get a woman that will treat him right, and I think Ruby fits the bill. The last time we saw those two together (I don't remember what the episode was called) you could really feel that they got along well (whereas William felt very awkward around Ruby).

Jonny Harris one time in his facebook page(it's pubblic) say "going to Dr.Ogden's marriage" this when they filmed the show some months ago..

I agree with you about the W & J totally. She was leaving to protect him from what she thought would be him settling for not having children. It was (and still is somewhat) rare to accept adoption as an alternative to having biological children so it's not surprising she wouldn't have anticipated his willingness to adopt. I do think Darcy may be suspicious of W & J feelings for each other and therefore not being totally selfless in his motive to suggest staying in Toronto. He may want to be sure she doesn't still have feelings for William before he marries her. I thought maybe Ruby and George could be getting married in the finale. But from other sources it seems that it is Julia's wedding. Plus in the episode guide for ep 5 on Alibi's website it says Julia is to marry Darcy in a week. I do hope there will be a romance between Ruby and George building sometime this season.

Helene Joy referred to it as her wedding in an interview a couple of months back - not the same interview in which she said Ogden was going to a masquerade with Murdoch. She may have been quoted as saying her wedding SCENE, which doesn't make her the bride, but I had the impression she was the bride.
The one article she definitely said that Ogden and Murdoch were going to a masquerade, no mention of all of station 4 going. I thought that her going with Murdoch to a fancy masquerade was a way to get him into her social world. I can't imagine the writers really having her character marry someone else - with Murdoch a Catholic, it would effectively shut down a plot line they have used effectively. And I can't see her going to a party with him if she was still engaged to someone else!
Also - if Darcy came to Toronto to meet Julia's "parents" - that would have to be just her father, right? In Houdini Whodunit, the conversation between Julia and Ruby made it clear their mother was dead.

She may have been quoted as saying her wedding SCENE, which doesn't make her the bride, but I had the impression she was the bride. Yeah she said "Tomorrow we’re shooting my big wedding scene in a cathedral in Cambridge." That does make it sound like it's her wedding. I also thought that her going with Murdoch to a masquerade was a way to get him into her social world. I can't imagine the writers really having her character marry someone else - with Murdoch a Catholic, it would effectively shut down a plot line they have used effectively. And I can't see her going to a party with him if she was still engaged to someone else! I think it is like when W & J went to the Pendrick's for the art showing or the Dinosaur Ball. The Eugenics Society was more exclusive but Brackenreid and Murdoch went to some of these types of functions together, too. The reception for the children's home fundraiser, for example. Murdoch would be invited to the Alice in Wonderland masquerde as a member of the police force (partly as undercover security but with the option of socializing) and the rest of the station could also be there in costume. That's what I'm anticipating anyway. I agree there are lots of plot possibilities with Julia's family if W & J get engaged. His being Catholic would definitely have to be addressed. Also - if Darcy came to Toronto to meet Julia's that would have to be just her father, right? In Houdini Whodunit, the conversation between Julia and Ruby made it clear their mother was dead. Good point. I think she might have said that Darcy was there to meet her family. ETA: I checked the episode just now and she did say family. Of course that mostly means her father.
