Ha, I don't know if Crabtree will finish his murder mystery. I think it's funny. Maybe he will send a draft to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to proof! I loved when Higgins responded to his idea about paint by numerical value saying, "it wouldn't sell any worse than your murder mystery will." Ouch! Maybe we'll get to hear some excerpts... I agree that the only way Darcy would end things is by seeing William and Julia together. I think Julia herself might realize her feelings for Murdoch (perhaps by seeing him with Anna Fulford again-the girl from England). I think Ruby could influence her, too. I think we could see things go to the altar. Helene said they were taping her big wedding scene which suggests being at the alter-but with whom? I agree that seeing Julia and Darcy reminds me of William and Enid. I never liked Sally either. She was married and stillw as throwing herself at William. Sort of like H.G. Wells did with Julia.

Ah, yes I think he will. Moreover, at the very end he'll tell us his pen name which will be one that we will all recognise as a famous thriller writer. Well.....maybe.

Regarding Crabtree and his murder mystery...I thought it was ironic that he was writing a story, given that we all expect his romantic future to be with Ruby, who is a writer. I see the murder mystery as a possible way for him to reach out to Ruby. Perhaps she winds up finishing the mystery!
I can well imagine RUby being at the masquerade. Being the same episode as the wedding, I would hope she'd be in town for her sister's wedding, and if Julia were invited to a big society event like a masquerade, I would expect Ruby to be as well.

Who played the part of Marcel Guillaume in episode 5? I thought this was a great story line, but aren't they all?

Oh, I didn't even think of the fact that Ruby is a writer, too! That would be great to see them collaborate, a bit like William and Julia. Yeah if Ruby was in town a little ahead of the wedding she could be there in enough advance to be invited. But since she doesn't live in Toronto she wouldn't be likely to be otherwise. I do think everyone will be there. Perhaps Brackenreid will be there due to his campaign and William and Crabtree and Higgins to provide security like the Pendrick art showing. I think Yannick Soulier played Inspector Marcel Guillaume. So 2 Yanniks and 2 Williams in that episode (although it was Guillaume's last name) www.imdb.com/name/nm0815847/

I was trying to think of someone, a writer with the initials of GC. Like George Crabtree. I could only come up with Geoffrey Chaucer so it's not him. Any thoughts?

It would be funny if he turned out to be a famous author, someone like Arthur Conan Doyle!

Hi Lucy, well it cant be Conan Doyle as he's been in the series, but I think it will be someone that we'll all recognise in some way.
