Yes before the episode where Brackereid's son is kidnapped it was easy to think that maybe Julia didn't want children. I think the writers did that intentionally. William certainly thought she didn't want children until then. She looked unsure of herself when she said of course she wanted a family at the end of that episode. So it was easy to think that she was only saying she wanted a family to hold onto William. In the S3 finale we discover she was looking that way because of her infertility/inability to give birth.

I agree with you Hannikan about how the show brings us issues that are still relevant today, but from a different view point because of what society was like back then. Thats one of the great things about MM.
On William and Julia, i do like them together but it if they just settle down and get married, I'm afraid we won't find it so interesting. That's why the writers have to keep writing the will they/won't they scenarios. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, and it also opens up the possibility of alternative love affairs for both of them, but with the jealousy and getting back together. Like in series 2 when they got together but quickly split up and William met Mrs Jones (that might not have been her name - the lady he went out with who had a little boy).
I think the new doctor, Dr Francis, is a great addition to the show. We need someone for Murdoch to argue with. I love this show!

I just finished watching the 4th episode... That's unbelievable! I saw him crying on the Julia shoulder perhaps because I crying on my sofa... ;D It was an emotive episode. I 've some troubles with the language, but their expressions were worth more than a thousand words! The investigations was very interesting... I never said that in the pediatric hospital can happening these things! Compliment to Writer!!! Brackenreid makes me die laughing... and George... they are a fun couple. Compliment to George using the Murdoch lessons! ;D I come back to see it another time! Again! ;D ;D ;D

Great stuff, and the will they wont they thing with Murdoch and Julia, is the same as Mulder and Scully in The X Files. I'm enjoying this, the best detective on tv.

Yes it reminds me of Scully and Mulder, too. Except Murdoch is the religious skeptic (like Scully).

Well, she is in the credits for each episode, I thought William would be heart broken when she told him she was engaged. I know I was.....well almost.

I've never seen Bones either but I've been curious about it. It's created by a Canadian, too. I am confident Julia and William will get back together. I just hope it's before the very end of the series/show. I'd like to see them spend a little time married to each other. Maybe even see them as parents. But maybe that would be boring to younger viewers.

Well, my prediction is they will get back together by the end of season 4. After that I don't know what will happen. It is very possible they will get married in the very last episode of the show.
