Great 1st Episode, and it wouldn't be complete without at least one "Bloody hell Murdoch!!  Another great line was "Humpty Dumpty"  Only a mother could like the new doctor.  |

I love Brackenreid's bloody hell, Murdoch! And me ol mucker (sp?) I keep rewatching episodes, too. I enjoyed the first one, too. I miss Julia, of course, but I do find the new pathologist funny. He's funny in a PITA way. It's kind of a good development now that Brackenreid is more in Murdoch's corner. Someone has to butt heads with him. I'm curious what will happen with Crabtree and Julia's sister. I'd like to see them get together but I also would like to see Edna Garrison come back for her dog...  |

Wasn't Edna in the very first episode? When they climbed in through the window I agree about Dr. Francis he has a very dry humour which is very funny. I loved Crabtree's reaction when he was talking about the "6th plague of Egypt" and then looking at Murdoch as if he might be infected, classic! |

Yes, Edna was in the first episode and at the end she asks George to look after her dog (which he still has in S3 in Future Imperfect when he and Ruby try to catch the dognapper). So I know it was a long time since he's seen her but they left it open for her to return, I think. If the actress is available maybe she'll come back and we'll see a rivalry between her and Ruby for George.,
