Did you know that NCIS was nearly a casualty of the writers' strike four years ago? What a turn-around it has made since those early days. One of those rare shows that has its audience increase over the years. And just fun to watch.

I've only just started watching NCIS - prompted by mentions by members here  I do like to watch TV series in order, so I have been waiting for Season 1 to start. Unfortunately it is only showing 1 episode a week, so at this rate it will take years to catch up, but I guess its good to know there is a lot of quality viewing ahead. What relationship do the other NCIS series have with the original (NCIS LA etc)? I am also watching JAG, currently on S4 which is 1999, so eventually it will all come together... |

Oooo another NCIS fan!  It's sooooo good! NCISLA is the Los Angeles branch of NCIS. It's the OSP part, Office of Special Projects. It's really good NCIS was a spin-off from JAG. Ermm not sure what else to say except that it keeps getting better and better all the time |

I LOVE NCIS.
Even if it sometimes anoys me, because it is yet another show that sets up shippers for heartache. I mean Ziva and Tony... come on! They are so long overdue!

The dynamic between all the characters is superb, and I just adore Ducky.
