As fans of Murdoch I'm sure you'll love this show!! Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander are fabulous. I started watching because Sasha was in NCIS

I started watching because i was bored and wondered what Angie Harmon was up to early last year and i found a website about "The Ambiguously Lez Duo".
Lucy and i have some differing opinion on this show. I have not read the books and she has. I find the show very funny. I also find the show really is gushing overflowing with lesbian subtext. And it gets more pathetic/funny/intense in season 2 even though the producers swear they intended exactly the opposite. The episode where they pretend to be Life Long Best Friends Forever who play for that other team just to get out of dating an idiot mechanic Jane has known since childhood takes it from subtext to foreground. Jane seems to love baseball even more this season. Jane's mum moves in with Maura. Maura's mum gets a lesson in parenting from Jane. Maura and Jane trade clothes. Jane has daddy issues that are exaggerated thanks to her parents' divorce.
For comedy this is the Angie Harmon show i would watch. For her as a more serious copper i would have to pick Women's Murder Club.

I do watch this, but I can't really take it seriously as there seems to be too much "hanging out together" at work, which just isn't realistic at all. Not that any such programmes are that realistic, but if people in those professions were really spending that much work time on their personal issues or girly chit-chat, no crimes would ever get solved..
