Hey fellow Torontonian!
I have yet to run into a Murdoch filming crew in Toronto...I'm sure that they film some scenes here, although they probably go to calmer cities in Ontario to do most of their filming.

I actually recognize a lot of the filming sites from Sullivan productions (Anne of Green Gables, Road to Avonlea, etc). Pretty much every scene out in the countryside I've recognized and I know where it is from having the list of Sullivan film sites. I've also read that some of the filming for MM is done around Hamilton.
