Crabtree: "Did you know that a cow invented the doughnut?" I think he was talking to Higgins? It was in 3.11 Hangman Also, when Crabtree is talking to Ruby, I can't remember what he said or which episode but I will go back and find it.

These are all so good! My favorite is when Crabtree says, "maybe the aliens have invented more advanced than anything we have." William says, "like what?" Crabtree says "... a horse that can go backwards. Think about it, you'd never have to turn around!"

Brackenreid: "I've got a new rhyme: Bobby Edwards took an axe, and gave his step-father 40 whacks. Bastard bloody deserved it!" Murdoch: "That doesn't rhyme Sir." Brackenreid: "It's better that way."
- Season 3 "Me, myself and Murdoch"

Julia: The death of a cat would be sufficient motive for a murder? George: Yes! As a pet owner, doctor, I'll vouch for that
This one had me laughing out loud!

Murdoch: Sir, you have a monkey on your desk. Brackenreid: She's called Athena. She's a cheeky monkey but she appears to have taken a bit of a shine to me!

Another Crabtree line which made me laugh was: "Higgins, just the facts man" 4.01 Tattered and Torn

Crabtree says "... a horse that can go backwards. Think about it, you'd never have to turn around!" No, he wasn't saying it about aliens. His speech in 1x13 was like "What if Martians have their own God?" As for the horse - Crabtree and Murdoch were discussing about religion and evolution theory in the "Dinosaur Fever", 2x03. I just watched it Crabtree: - Maybe tomorrow the eighth day will begin and he [God] will create something entirely new. Something just as important as land or water. Murdoch: Such as? Crabtree: A horse that can run backwards. Think about it, you'd never need to turn around!
