I wouldn't mind it if Gillies was back! One last hurrah but they without a doubt kill him this time. Noooooooo! Please let him be dead. His character has been done to "death".  Not only are there lots of characters for them to bring back, there's a nice opportunity for Eva Pearce to return. Anyone but James Gillies.  |

What about Sherlock Holmes? I loved the play on that character and his real self helping Murdoch.

I like the episodes with Arthur Conan Doyle - but they guy who thinks he's Sherlock Holmes annoys me somehow. Perhaps it was something about those particular episodes. I love MM on principle, so it's a relative "like less" anyway. One of my favorite scenes is in the second Sherlock one - the nannies with their "special tea" - wahahaha. Did that really happen?  |

I think it would be cool if Arlene from "Bloodlust" in season 4 would return as a stalker. And by stalker I mean actual follow Murdoch around, collect items he has touched, send anonymous notes and gifts, make shot anonymous phone calls and other things like that. They could set it up over several episodes with Murdoch getting notes and phone calls and seeing a strange veiled woman at many places he is. This would be very plausible too since at the end of "Bloodlust" Murdoch mentions that Arlene's parents had hired an army of expensive to defend her in court and that he did not think she would hang.The story could be that she got off on an insanity plea and was committed to an asylum. With her parents being rich it could be a private one. She could either be declared cured or escape and then start stalking Murdoch. Arlene would be in her 20s now so this could really work if they did it correctly.
