I wasn't worry about Sally at all, however i don't like this character..and i don't see her like a problem for William and julia relationship...in fact the problem is been Buffalo, not Sally.

I think Sally was a threat if Julia had left for Buffalo earlier and Pendrick had been the one behind the crimes. In ep 12 I was concerned this could happen. If William had thought Julia wasn't interested in marrying him he may have reciprocated Sally's advances. I thought it was a possibility similar to Enid. He only took up with Enid because he thought Julia wasn't interested anymore.

Yeah she wasn't a possibility for very long but even back in Future Imperfect I thought it was possible because Julia was already thinking she needed something else in her life and H.G. Wells was pursuing her. I didn't think she would really accept his advances (just like I didn't really think William would accept Sally's advances) but it was still a small possibility. Enid was a bigger threat for sure.

IMHO the 4th season will decisive for them relationship: I feel that... a couple can't live in this situation. With or without. With o without forever! In the second case... I cry for 2 months!!!!

I must say that I always enjoy all the scenes between Julia and William even when they are not together. U can see that each time they see each other, they wish they would be together anyway. Julia married Darcy, I think, as she saw it as an escape for not being tempted anymore but she said in one episode that she had to leave because she cant stand the fact of seeing William everyday and being married to another man. She knows her feelings for William will always be there even if she married someone else. I think she thought it would have been different but they are both heart broken to b honest. Shame that the rush for marriage was in her mind as a mean of escaping true love. She is really brave to have done that but she should have listened to Ruby, her sister. She got it right. The problem is that Julia is not a selfish woman and she would prefer William to b happy than herself. She truly thought that if she was moving, William could find another love to give him the family that he really wants but I think she realised that she was wrong because even her has a problem to see him after her marriage to Darcy. I hope that they will have a long chat one day to make things clearer between each other. They are both confused right now. Lets see some more arguments too and I wonder if she changed her name by the way because in season 5 , episode 2, I am 99% sure she was called Doctor Ogden still.

I think you're right about Julia's thought process, catymurdoch. I like seeing their banter, too. She stayed Julia Ogden, yes. Probably because she already had her professional name established as Dr. Ogden.

Their banter are the best to b honest. I watched some episodes from season 1 today, like episode 2, 3 and 4 and I loved the way Julia was talking to Murdoch back then. She was coming up with those jokes that only she laughed at and Murdoch didnt respond to them because only her found them funny. I thought it was hilarious. I would like to see her that way again soon.

I don't think there's enough liquor in the world to give William the courage to propose again. My money is on Julia popping the question.
Then Julia's family will make trouble throughout Season 8.

Wouldn't it be cruel if the season ended with William taking his hat off, obviously about to propose - and then the episode ends, leaving everyone to imagine what he said? D:

Don't give them any ideas!

lol. My goal is to preempt any really lame ideas, like "William gets a bump on the head, and when he wakes up he doesn't remember Julia."

A really simple delay tactic would be waiting for Ruby to get back from a trip to Europe - or, better yet, India. Julia's engagement to Darcy lasted an entire season.
Also maybe William can be called as a consulting detective on a case in another country, just as the French detective ended up consulting with the Toronto police department while attending a conference on "International Cooperation". I wonder if there were any conferences on emerging investigative technologies...?
