I know this is a site for MM, but there have got to be some other DW fans on here as well, right!
This new season is killer - even though only the first episode (or for those in the UK, the first two episodes - have been aired! I really hope I'm not alone in this!!

Hello, I'm a DW fan as well  And there were some other people in a thread about favorite tv shows. Sorry, may be a dull question, but I don't quite get your expression - you mean like it is so good (intriguing, surprising, etc) that nearly killed you or so bad? |

I used to watch when David Tennant was the Doctor! Matt seems good as the doctor but his new assistant was getting on my nerves a little bit so I didn't watch anymore. I might watch a couple this year as Mark Sheppard (a.k.a Dr Walker in Medium and Crowley in Supernatural) is going to be in a couple of episodes!  |

I had watched all new series + all SJA series. Fell in love with DW because of Eccleston Some time ago started watching classic series (it is certanly impossible they will ever appear on our tv so I load them), but stoped at the series with 2nd 'cause my HDD broke  |

HUGE fan here too. Tom Baker was my Doctor, but major crush on 10. 11 is cool too, but what's with leaving!!! Who will play the Doctor now? Yannick? Wouldn't that be wonderful, but hey! then there would be no Murdoch. Hmmm! i think we need a Tardis so that he can do both roles. LOL  I am also a MASSIVE Torchwood fan. Luv me some Captain. |

A massive fan as well- my favorite Doctors have to be Ten and Eleven, though I loved Tom Baker and Peter Davidson as well. I've only seen Torchwood: Miracle Day; but I enjoyed it. Strongly disliking the new companion, Clara, though, and that puts me off.

I always liked Martha. I didn't love her like I loved Donna and Rory, but I liked her well enough.
I suppose I just miss the Ponds, but Clara gets on my nerves. I was hoping for a new companion now Matt Smith is leaving, but nope.

Been a HUGE whovian since Tom Baker! Tennant was great, and Ecclestone did a good job, but Matt Smith brought such a range of emotions to the role! Ever since his first appearance with the Attraxi (sp?) When he said that Earth was protected by him so, " basically, run" I've loved him as The Doctor. That and "fish fingers & custard"!
Favourite companions were obviously, Rose Tyler, Amy Pond ( with and without Rory) and Donna Noble. Clara is hit or miss with me, but actually like her with Peter Capaldi over her brief time with Matt.
