Does anyone else find it a slightly happy coincidence that Henry Higgins is portrayed by Lachlan MURDOCH?

I met Lachlan at the Canadian Television festival last November and asked him if his name had anything to do with his getting his role. He just smiled and replied, "I wonder too." He and Arwen ( I forget her surname , she plays Margaret Brackenreid) were hanging around the lobby before the other actors came. They were both really friendly, conversing and letting us take pictures. Lachlan is a real cutie in real life too. I want to see more of him!

That's awesome, eus! He looks like a cutie on the screen...I can only imagine his cuteness in person! Hopefully future seasons will see more of him. I especially love his interactions with George.

I hate the sideburns, though. I don't care i it was Victorian/Edwardian fashion, they are like enormous caterpillars on someone's face. Down there with the soul patch and the cheesy seventies mustache in turn-off territory. I do love how he's buds (and occasional friendly rival) with George, though. Can't wait for the Pen Pirate to strike again. Also, I may be coming around on romantic relationships for comic characters. There are some good ones Brisco County Junior. I still think the lady love needs a comic element, too, though. I can see Henry with a saloon girl before I see him with Emily, though.

The friendly banter between Henry and George is definitely one of my favorite parts of the show...I look forward to seeing their outside relationships develop too, now that I'll soon be on to Season 4!

Cute and friendly. Not at all standoffish. Of course he does not get mobbed, yet. The fans who were there were, of course, more interested in the main actors. I was just happy to talk to someone who was so involved with the show, and who was all too happy to talk to me. Being shy, I found it harder to approach the stars as they were always surrounded by people.

I still think he should be sashaying around with a wealthy widow instead of mooning over Emily, though.

I would be super excited to meet any of the actors from the show, and I consider Henry to be a major character (maybe not one of the big four, but definitely an important supporting role). Maybe I'll have to travel to Canada one of these days, just to meet them all!
