Cool link. I really enjoy the character Higgins. I think it has to do a lot with Lachlan (sp) Murdoch's acting. Higgins is young, a bit unsure of himself, probably awkward around women, and hard-working. Lachlan does a really nice job of capturing all of these traits, and mostly through body language. It makes me wonder if he gets so into character, that he "thinks" as Higgins when in character. Such as Brackenreid scheming to avoid the dentist chair. You could tell Higgins was blow away Brackenreid took him into his confidence. It shows in his eyes, his change in skin tone, and of course his scripted words. I hope they allow Higgins a bigger role so the actor can showcase more of his abilities. He does a really great job.

I know, I hope we get to know Higgins more next season, too. I agree that Lachlan Murdoch is a great actor like the rest of the original cast.

Thanks for sharing! Love the character of Higgins! He adds a neat dynamic to the show, not only as a character himself, but also adding depth to characters like George and William. George will always be first in my heart, but I love his interactions with Higgins as well. And of course, I have my own private life every time he makes an appearance on the screen and my inner voice starts singing, ♪ Just you wait, 'enry 'iggins, just you wait! ♪
