I discovered Murdoch recently and have been nflx bingeing. I came hunting a fan message board because I have a question about the S8 episode I’m currently watching. I’m still exploring the topics menus and will try to post my query in the appropriate place.

Hello all, I am a recent convert but a big fan. I saw all ten seasons this summer. No my sister and my daughter are Murdoch followers. Hey, what can I say. Any conventions or meetings in the US. Two of us live in Texas and one in Iowa. We are willing to travel. Hello. I am trying to get this forum going good again. I live less than 5 minutes away from the actual Murdoch set in Toronto!

Hello, it is nice to be among Murdoch fans. I usually don't join things as a rule, but I must confess I got scared Murdoch might be cancelled after Margaret asked Tom for a divorce. I thought it might the beginning of the end and a way of wrapping up loose ends before they told us it was over. I looked around for a place to just express my fears of loosing this show, and talk to other fans who might take my anxiety seriously. After I saw episode one of season 13 and became a tad more relieved. My biggest concern now is why William isn't talking to Julia about the corruption the new coroner showed at the end of season 12. He is usually so good about involving her and she him in their thinking. I am wondering why he isn't going after the coroner. Surely Julia has expertise she could bring to an investigation. But I might just be impatient for the resolution of that story line. I am happy to be in a group where those concerns aren't dismissed by being told: "It's just a television series it doesn't warrant that much attention." I'm happy to be here; thank you for having this board available.

Good afternoon Murdoch fans! My name is Kirk and I live in Brookville Indiana. My wife and I started watching Murdoch Mysteries several weeks ago on DVD and I can honestly say that I am hooked. Thank you for making this site and I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions now that I'm here.

Hi! I'm TigerAnne, a recent Murdoch discoverer. Please help, I'm obsessed and need people to talk to about this fantastic show! PS: I know I'm not the only person on the internet that has this username. If you've seen it on a Sims site, or anywhere related to simulator games, yes that's me. Anywhere else it's probably not.
What happened was I'd been listening to a podcast called Mystery Maniacs, which is hilarious and originally was a Midsomer Murders fanpod. When I got caught up to the point I'm at in my rewatch of Midsomer, I was hooked on the podcast, and had to start watching one of the other shows they were covering. My choice fell on Murdoch Mysteries, just because it looked so aesthetically pleasing. I'm a sucker for Edwardian and late Victorian anything.
How did I not start watching this show before? While I knew it was going to be good, it was nothing like what I had expected. I've never seen anything like it, the way it manages to play the whole range from absurd comedy to deepest tragedy. Even my best friend is starting to really like it, and she usually doesn't like many shows, so that's something. (I have successfully turned her into a dedicated Midsomer fan, though.)
I'm only up to Season 5 still, but for some reason I decided to watch through all the episodes featuring James Pendrick. Yeah, that's probably one of the most insane character evolutions I've ever seen in any medium, but it's great. (I love James so much!)
Apart from shows that can be abbreviated to MM, I've watched many, many mystery shows, both classic and more modern. I like spooky podcasts and videos about ghost stories and folklore. Sometimes I'm inspired to try writing my own stories. Also I'm a big fan of the original Dark Shadows from the 60s-70s.
