This one is harder because the end of the Tesla Effect is sad, of course. But I don't know that I find the whole episode sad (but that is true with what I voted for in S1, as well). I think Hangman is sadder overall. In a different way, The Great Wall is sad, too.

Me, Myself and Murdoch is scary and sad. Sad because what that father did has scarred her for life and she'll probably never recover.

M, M, & M is definitely the scariest and saddest episode I've seen so far, in my opinion. It's just SO fantastically intense and heartbreaking...

man there were a lot of sad ones this season. but i think Love and Human Remains is pretty up there. Babies deaths always have a great impact on me. Also, when old people are sad, it just bothers me that much more than when younger people are for some reason. Maybe it's cuz i figure that they've lived through enough hardships in the course of their lives and shouldn't have to deal with anymore near the end. =(
