Murdochic- murdochmysteries.wikia.com/wiki/Season_6That has most of the spoilers on it. Some of the episodes have further summaries, others don't. I'm the only admin and one of the few active members of that site, by the way Hey Murdochic - how do you know these things so far in advance??? It's like you have superknowledge! (but I'm not looking - I so much prefer to be surprised!)

I guess I do have super knowledge I am one of those awful people that like to know things before hand and so I tend to hunt out the spoilers. It must be the genetics. I actually get most of my information from an Alibi site, which funnily enough the people on the same site hate the spoilers. But I have friends in high places, which helps.

Okay, I caved and read the spoilers. I can't say I'm surprised actually. I'm looking forward to seeing how it all plays out though.

It should be an excellent ending to the season. I wonder if S6 will end in a cliffhanger which will get resolved only in S7? I don't think S7 is confirmed yet, but one wonders why CBC would have picked it up for just one year. The show moving from CityTV to CBC may give us a few extra seasons that we normally not have had otherwise. Six years is quite a long run for a Canadian show

I'm thinking it will be resolved in season six, but who knows? I think a season 7 is probable, because of that auction back in December. And why would CBC only advertise for one season? Anyway, I guess we will have to wait and see. The viewings for each episode also probably give an idea if they should make another season.

Six years is quite a long run for a Canadian show The nature of the storyline means it has to be resolved. It isn't something that can be left on a cliffhanger. MM never start a new series right after the last in the timeline. There are always months lapsed because they like each series to take place in a different 12 month period. The events that happen in the last two episodes couldn't wait months to be resolved. I don't expect to have to wait for a new series to see the obvious outcome.

Yeah, also based on the interviews with the actors, it is supposed to be romantic at the end. That suggests that things are resolved.

Okay, I have been thinking about what we know from the wikia page... so spoilers ahead...
in the finale William and Thomas are forced to recuse themselves from the case. In the imdb cast list for the episode, a telephone operator is included and there was talk that Tess Moffatt would be back in S6. I wonder if George seeks out Tess's private detective agency's help (though she may still have to work at the phone company, as well. Or he just tracks her down through her old co-workers there) to help catch the killer/clear Julia's name. Also for Twisted Sisters, it says that an old friend of Emily's finds someone dead, which causes a competitive streak btwn 3 characters. I bet the old friend is her crazy stalker ex-fiance and he is jealous of George's relationship with her. Although I suppose it is also possible that Tess is in that episode, is an old friend of Emily's and that brings out a rivalry btwn the two of them for George. I'm just speculating here.

warning: spoilers
Unfortunately, Dr. Grace's returning friend is not her crazy stalker ex fiancée but instead is a male friend from the Toronto Athletic Club. There you see the George/Emily/Reginald conpetitiveness come out.
As for Tess, I think she might be back in the finale too, because of that Telephone Operator on imdb. But you never know. She could surprise us in any episode. That's just how Tess rolls.

I'm not keen on reading spoilers, I like to look forward to each episode and be surprised. I wasn't too keen on the episode with the man pretending to be Sherlock Holmes. Yes, I enjoyed it, but it wasn't up to the same standard as usual.

I might have mentioned this before, can't remember but I have a theory about that wanton woman in the next ep. I think she's one of Murdoch's fan girls! We got a glimpse of this in S5 but this girl is just completely obsessed. I think she might even have killed the store manager in order to get close to him! If that's the case, this ep should be called The Murdoch Trap.
