Going to Filming Locations/Meeting Yannick etc

Hi all

I am going to Toronto in June and I would give anything to be able to go to one of the filming locations to see my favourite show being filmed. It would make it even more of a dream come true if I got to meet the man himself.

I was wondering if anyone had done this? I have contacted Shaftesbury Films to try to find out where they will be filming and when but has anyone done this already?

Any help/tips would be appreciated. Of course, if anyone wanted to join me that would be welcome too ;D!

As far as I know, series 5 is in the can. Though I don't know when it will be aired.
I'm watching the episode where there is a model town with a crime scene.

Yeah, S5 is done filming. It will be airing in just a couple of weeks in the UK. You might be able to see S6 filming though. I don't know how much the schedule will change now that CBC has taken over the broadcasting for S6. Apparently they hope to have S6 on next fall. That's what I've heard. But they could still be filming in June. I haven't seen filming but I know there some here who have. I do know that when they film on location, away from the studio, it's open to the public. When they film at the studio you have to get special permission to watch filming there. I hope to go to TO area in summer of 2013 and I hope to see some on location filming sites at least, even if I can't see actual filming. I would only be able to see filming then if there's a S7.
