I know we as Canadians had to wait for season 5 to air, but with MM moving to CBC, season 6 will air in the fall 2012-13 lineup. I read that filming for season 6 is starting May 22/12.....so, it's season 5 & 6 back to back....yippee!!!! That is totally awesome, eh!!!

I heard that S6 won't start until the New Year actually. Filming for S6 is supposed to go through the end of Sept and they will reair S5 in the fall in Canada. I expect in the UK S6 will air at the same time, early in the New Year.

Isn't that strange? On the CBC website it said premiering in September....and they are usually very good at keeping to the dates....in either case there is a season 6 which for a Canadian produced show is BIG! As long as I get to hear George/Jonny speaking with his newfoundland accent...I am one happy gal!

I think that fall date for S5 is the reair date. CBC supposedly will be airing S5 in the fall before they air S6 in the winter. Since it will be the first time S5 is on CBC, they may not mention that it will first air on City TV in June.
