I think your question belongs in Would You Rather, Carolion, but I'll answer it anyways.  I'd rather go on a bike-ride with William. I really enjoy cycling, and with William there it's just an added bonus. TPBM thinks George and Emily have more chemistry than George and Ruby. |

TPBM owns at least one of the MM seasons in DVD/Blueray.

Sometimes. I don't like knowing the actual plots or what's going to happen, but I like getting little glimpses- photos and such. Basically I enjoy what CBC is giving us now,, but not intensive spoilers.
TPBM thinks there will be a season 8, after season 7.

Yeah pretty much for me too but I would actually like a bit less.
This is tricky for me. Normally I don't like it when shows go past the fifth season. But since MM has like half the eps as an American show and it's my fav show and we had a bad season in the mix, I guess I would want there to be an eighth. I don't know if I think there will be though. If it's ratings are good, then I guess so.
TPBM is scared to watch S6 again because of the blue dress.

Much as I love the show, I think we should get an eighth season, but that should be our last. Anywhere past there would be a little over the top. In s7, W&J should get married, and then in s8, they should work towards adopting a child. That way, we would still have 36 episodes of Murdoch left to enjoy (assuming 8 would be a super-sized season as well).
I got over that dress. Looking at it, I actually think it is rather pretty... but it was definitely overused. I won't let it ruin my rewatching that I haven't even started yet...
TPBM thinks that Gillies should return next season.

I have no issues with a show going on, as long as the writing remains good. However most shows that do this have a revolving and changing cast. Spooks and silent witness being two examples. So not sure about MM. But we definitely need to see the marriage and children before the conclusion.
And I think Julia had much worse dresses than the blue one, which I agree was actually pretty, but over used.
There was that very ugly blue evening dress with the white trim. It looked like something from a dress up box. Ugh!!!!
And no way re Gillies,enough already. I would like to see William have a quiet celebratory drink with Brackenreid when he finally hangs.
TPBM would like to see lots of extras on the next DVD release.
The ones released here in Australia have none, not sure what you Canadians got. And , my goodness they are expensive here, saw them for $47 a season the other day, the $150 I paid for the box set doesn't seem so bad now.

Sure, if only I could afford them/ want to spend 60 dollars on a season (70 for bluray)! That's right, somehow they are more expensive here than in other countries and they never go on sale!

I did that already. I learned 'bloody hell' from Ron Weasely and I haven't looked back.  Yeah, I don't have the DVDs either and they're not so cheap here. I might buy s6, though. If I feel like dishing out 60/70 bucks. I do have all the DW DVDs though, and the are not cheap. TPBM's favorite James Pendrick episode is 'Murdoch Air'. |

I'm not sure. I haven't rewatched it yet so it's hard to compare. It's between that one and The Bullet ep.
