I just voted no but it is a difficult one. Just at the moment (S4 Dead End St) they are really frustrating me and I actually think it would be better if Julia would go back to Buffalo and let William get on with his life  I realise its unlikely to happen and of course I'll be happy for them if they do get back together. My worry is that they will have to marry this time if they reunite, and then we won't have a "will they, won't they" storyline for William, which I think would be a shame. During most of S3 their relationship was quite dull. It’s just more interesting watching characters who are in a position to flirt or daydream about others – such as S1 and S2 between W & J, and in S3 W & Anna Fulford and W & Sally Pendrick  |

I think they will get back together by the end of S4 but I don't think they'll get married yet. I think that could happen in S5. I hope William gets to propose by the end of S4 and they marry in S5. I think there could still be the possibility of another man/woman even if they're married (Sally was married). I think the will they/won't they shouldn't go on too much longer. It's going to have gone on for most ofm four seasons already. There's a lot of interesting stuff they could do after they married (ie: will they have kids or not, they could have one of them be offered another job-probably William this time-and the possibility of living apart temporarily, maybe there's uncertainty about returning, etc...)

This is a toughie. When I first began watching the show, it was lots of fun seeing if they'd get together. But the writers sorta ruined it for me when they turned it into a soap opera. And I also preferred them when they weren't romantically involved. They made great professional pairing, a very great professional pairing. At times I wish writers wouldn't let these romances happen. One thing I really liked about Cold Case before they cancelled it was the writers never threw Lily and Soctty together. Instead, it focussed on their separate love lives, with Scotty even getting involved with Lily's sister.
I wish MM would have went this route--Murdoch falling for whoever, and Julia with someone else. It's always nice to see these two sit down and talk as friends. I think they would have become even closer, discussing personal affairs near and dear to their hearts. But the love thing has made them both withdrawn and leery about opening up.
Then, maybe in season four or five, becasue they're pretty much best friends now, they realise how much they love each other--with everything in the open: Julia's abortion, Murdoch's religious beliefs, etc. There'd be nothing to hide. I just think it would have been a better set-up this way, instead of that merry-go-round they're on.
Anyhoo, sorry, didn't mean to ramble like that. I just sorta lost all interest in them as a couple because the writers made it too drama-filled for me.

I like together professionally and romantically. I'm starting to think they won't get together until toward the end of the show now that Julia's married to Darcy and Anna will be coming back at the end of S5. It seems like they will have William and Anna together for awhile.

They should so be together!!! They're meant to be <3 Seriously, I think they're just so nice together, but their relationship shouldn't be a "happy ever after" thing, because that'd be just boring... No, we still need a few complications to keep us satisfied |

They definitely should be together again!!!!!!! They are made to be together! They need to be together!! I hope season 6 will more explore their relationship. I don't expect it to be really easy but with love they can conquer everything ;p

Yes, they should get together - especially if season 5 is going to be the last season. Just making sure everyone knows there will be a S6. It's already been filmed and is supposed to air in Canada in Jan and the UK in Feb. Helene says their relationship will definitely be going forward and that Julia's in the show more than she's ever been before. I'm curious how that will work now that she's a psychiatrist. |

I voted no. Not because I do not believe they do not love one another but because they never seem to be able to make it work. I think it would be great if they got Murdoch a new love interest. Someone who could keep him on him toes.
