Oh, interesting! So then Gillies will be in the premiere and Midnight Night to Kingston. Yes, I am one of those who think that Julia could become interested in studying his brain to understand what makes someone take his actions. That was something that scientists were very interested in at the time and thought they might be able to eradicate society's evils by doing so. So I think it would make a lot of sense to explore that idea. Okay, CBC posted the Fan Expo panel interview, which includes a preview reel for S7!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubJs6LeAGow&feature=youtu.be

The panel was amazing, but I lost it at the clips of s7. 'We're being attacked by the zombie army!' Oh, George. Season seven looks so promising. I must say, it's so nice to have Murdoch Mysteries on CBC.

Agreed! All the episodes [that titles have been released to] sound exciting, except for the Sherlock one. I also wasn't a fan of him. Hopefully it's his last appearance as well. Aha thanks! Yes, it's been quite the exciting week. I picked "The Murdoch Trap" as my signed script. I think it's Gillies' last appearance too. As Michael put "Death by Train"- hopefully he wasn't kidding. Though Gillies does make a great villain, it's time for him to go. And Julia should totally throw him off the train. Girl power! Yeah. I suppose enough people liked Sherlock to bring him back, though. Oh, gosh, I WANT A SIGNED SCRIPT! I think I'd have chosen Murdoch Au Natural. That was by far my favorite and the funniest episode of season 6. I agree. I have a friend who absolutely loves Gillies, but even she agrees his rein of terror must end. I do hate it when great characters are ruined because of prolonged and unneeded use. If the writers want Murdoch to have a nemesis, they can bring out a fresh character. Julia can whack him several times on the head with whatever is at hand (for all the pain he has caused her and Murdoch) and then toss him off of the train. The gang can say it was an accident. I agree that Gillies should die. I think they should bring back Sally Pendrick, because she mysteriously disappeared. It would be nice to know what has happened to her, and there could be a new nemesis for Murdoch that everyone is already familiar with.

Yeah, it sounds to me from what Yannick said that they had planned to have Sally come back originally. I know the way they left things with her at the end of S3, it seemed she would. My guess is the reason they haven't brought her back is that the actress hasn't been available to return when they have asked her to. 90% of the time when the character does not appear, it's because of the actor's decision to do other things. Hopefully, they will try again though. Once Gillies is gone (which I think he will be after S7) they could bring Sally back, too. I have now watched the panel twice and I just died laughing at some of the things they said. They were all so funny! And I'm very much looking forward to S7!

If they can't get the actress, they should still let us know what happened to her. Maybe the constabulary could get a message from another police department that she got captured or something like that. They just need a way to bring it up—perhaps on an episode with James Pendrick. He seems to show up once in a while.

^ Interesting! I've been having CBC channel on pretty much throughout the day just to see Murdoch Mysteries commercials. There's one for the zombies where someone screams (I believe it's a girl) and then Murdoch looks around. Other than that I've just seen the teasers. They should be releasing more and more trailers as we get closer to Sept 30 (only 33 more days!)

Any rumors of a Wedding?

Wish there was but not yet. During the panel someone called out "Any weddings this season?" Or something like that and Yannick said no. He could obviously be just keeping things under wraps, but tbh I don't think there will be a wedding this season, for W/J. At this rate Dr. Grace and Crabtree are more likely to get hitched

He said not yet actually. Dvsb, I think they haven't given any info on Sally because they still hope to get the actress to come back at some point. They'll leave the plot open-ended until the end of the show, so they could pick it back up at any time, even if the actress never ends up being available. They would probably want not only Katherine Greenwood (Sally) to be available for any future eps with Sally, but also Peter Stebbings (James). So it's two busy actor schedules to make sure are clear at the same time. There isn't an actual cross over with Republic of Doyle, none of the RoD characters will appear. It's just the main actor from that show will be in the Newfoundland episode. But it does accomplish cross-promotion for both CBC shows.

Oh ok, not yet. So there is still a tiny bit of hope.
I just found some information about s7- Maureen has co-written another episode for the season. It said it was in productions on July 16 and that was right in the thick of "Murdochophobia" filming. This makes sense, because that will be a "darker" episode if you will and her episodes have been darker in the past (Staircase to Heaven, Victoria Cross)
