I was chatting with a friend about this ep the other day, how George's Aunts are named after flowers and that 'gentleman callers' sometimes brought a particular flower to indicate which Aunt they wanted to see. This got me thinking about Aunt Nettle…. I wonder what type of service she provided. LOL

1. I'm always amazed that the police sketches always seem to be helpful to them. Nowadays the sketches always seem so horrible and unlike the suspect. 2. Poor Henry always has his projects ruined. Him taking the credit for it was hilarious 3. I absolutely loved getting to see George's aunts. Making them prostitutes was just perfect. William's reaction was great. 4. I'm not always a fan of the side plots involving the Inspector's children but this one at least gave Brack a little character development. It's nice to see him being a little more accepting. 5. Newfoundland was fun and I wouldn't mind if they went back

Some of my favorite episodes are when Murdoch and Crabtree go off somewhere together. The aunts were brilliant. I particularly enjoyed the scenes where Crabtree was 'undercover' and playing the native Newfoundlander to the hilt. The exaggerated accent, the music, the screeching in. I could have watched Jonny playact that all day.

I could have watched Jonny playact that all day. That is one of my very favorite of all also. I am amazed at how Yannick Bisson can carry so many relationships off successfully. I am really a fan of the mature actor he has become. Jonny is amazing in that episode though. Maybe it was dear to his Newfoundland heart.
