1. George has been digging a lot in this season 2. William is dead lucky that Julia is excited over the things that distracts him from her and their time together. 3. I love that they went back to an old case and it was a great way to really bring Julia into it. 4. So annoying that Emily wouldn't be up front with George. Poor guy. 5. Blegh. I paused before Julia reads the letter. I don't wanna be at this part already. Leslie pretending to be Gillies is probably more annoying than actually having Gillies threatening them.

I just began watching this show a few week ago and became interested in the Julia/William and Emily/George romantic dynamics. For the Emily/George relationship, my two cent is that the core of the problems in their relationship is found with George Crabtree than Emily Grace.
George does not seem to want to fight for Emily and he quickly cowards when Emily ignores him. In this episode, Emily is cold to George when he meets her in the morgue and later in her office. She also has a letter from Leslie Garland. I wish the show had indicated revealed what was in the letter from Leslie.
George knows at this point the Leslie is 'after' Emily. So instead of sad and moped away when Emily is cold to him, he should have confessed he feeling for her. He had another opportunity the next when she was in her office.
I agree with William that Julia should not read a private communication to Emily. Also, Julia helping George out a little by asking if he had seen Emily and he replied that he has no seen her.
