She searched fb for his name and found him. Can't remember what he's called but it should be easy to look up.
Name is Jean-Marc Piche'-used the "message" button on his FB page and left him a "plea". It would be so cool to see YB in a role that did not require him to be quite so restrained, and more able to showcase his obvious talent.
I think he must be a little exuberant naturally because of his demeanor in the goof up reels that they show. I saw a director say that when he directed Robin Williams in Goodwill Hunting, that he would let Robin just go off by himself for a few minutes every now and then, just to blow off some steam and energy, before coming back to continue filming. It took a lot out of him to have to reel in all that creative energy and bring it down to a level of the other actors. Maybe (to a lesser degree of course) that is why YB is so exuberant and goofy on the take outs. It is his way of venting energy, because of how restrained the character of Murdoch is. Just a thought.
I think Yannick is a physically energetic person however I'm not so sure he's an exuberant personality. From what I've seen of him he's a pretty quiet guy. I'm sure the restrained character does get to him though and you always need to have a bit of fun when you're working.

But really - if Yannick is going to go around proclaiming his fans should watch Nothing Really Matters, then that film should be made available. I wonder if he understands that the distribution company collapsed a couple of years ago.

He's used to most of what he's done not being available to a wide market so he probably didn't think about it.

There's a quote a kept that's one of the things that make me admire Yannick as a person (as opposed to the roles he plays). Not sure if it's from an article or Twitter. If Yannick is just saying what he thinks his audience wants to hear, I really like the audience that Yannick wants to have, if that makes any sense. And he sounds very thoughtful. Way to overcome that lack of high school diploma!

Oh, I think that he is naturally an intelligent guy. Realizing what happened to his schooling and such, he really values a good education. That is why he stressed that his girls get a good education first and then venture out into the world. He would not be able to portray Murdoch as intelligently as he does, if he was not such in his own life.
It is refreshing to see a man still be in love with his wife after 25 or however many years it has been. I sense that they make a good team together.

Just sent another "plea" to Jean-marc Piche 'on Facebook to let him know there are a lot of fans in YB lan d that are still waiting to see this movie (Nothing Really Matters) released. Maybe as YB's popularity increases, Piche' will feel more pressured to find a way to release the film! Ah, well... I keep trying.

Lol this was part of one of the comments on YT: 'I saw this over the weekend. Very well shot, and most of the actors did a good job, though the lead guy was clearly better at comedy than drama.'
Anyway, this movie looks really weird...which is to say, exactly my sort of thing!

I thought it looked like a pretty quirky movie and quirky is my first love for TV and movies. Would love to see it.
