What makes William ridiculously happy?

Please help me find all episodes in which William is thrilled/super-pleased about something.

This can include where he is delighted by Julia:

Dinosaur Fever - dance lessons worth the 8 dollars
Green Muse - absinthe-fueled hanky panky
Shades of Grey - after Julia gives him a bullet extractor and has her way with him.
Tesla Effect - imagined proposal
Twentieth Century Murdoch - when Julia finds working on the case "exhilerating", also when William sees the future.
Loch Ness Murdoch - playing around in the water with Julia
Unfinished Business - Julia's chapeau link becomes a chain and "we did it". Happy happy joy joy!
The Death of Doctor Ogden - We're gettting married - wheeeeeeeeee!

William was also extremely happy to see Anna in The Black Hand...before he found out she was engaged.

Where William invents something cool:

Convalescence - when William gets the parabolic mirrors for his Night Vision Goggles.
Dial M for Murdoch - Phone Tapping Device
Murdoch on the Corner - scrutiny camera
Winston's Lost Night - pedal-powered induction machine
Murdoch au Naturel - William is very pleased when his silly putty picks up newspaper print.

Murdoch Sting - listening in on the "lawyer"

I don't mean when William is sweetly happy about something - I'm looking for occasions where he's over-the-top overjoyed and ridiculously happy.

One of my favourites was in the Tour de Murdoch episode when he was thrilled to death with the sprockets on his bike!

I loved that, too - and it immediately brought to mind other times William had been delighted with the outcome of an invention. It's a great break from his proper, almost dour, personality. I hope to see William having fun more often!

You will now have to add William climbing on a chair to announce to Station 4 his impending nuptials. That was a great moment. So soon shattered though.

It was really awesome to see how publicly happy William was about the engagement and wanting to invite his whole "family" to the wedding.

Somehow I felt drinks should be involved. William may practice teetotalism, but no one else there does.

I see big debate about the size of the wedding in their future. And which church will it be in? D:

OMG, I can't believe I missed that one!!!

I only remembered because I turned on the TV last night and the PVR was recording that episode right at that moment.

I think he also got pretty jazzed about the invention of some new film...I think it's in In the Altogether but I'm not positive. Otherwise I think you've already got a pretty comprehensive list here!

about 1/3 thru rewatching In the Altogether: so far it's all pretty gloomy since William is in the doghouse for blaming a victim for dressing provocatively.

It occurs to me he might have gotten excited over the portable camera in Monsieur Murdoch...?

Bingo - 12 minutes in (In the Altogether) - William is indeed pleased with the portable camera. But I was thinking there is also one in Monsieur Murdoch: doesn't it get pawned?

Halfway through Monsieur Murdoch: yes there was a portable camera with a roll of film, and William wasn't at all impressed. Nitpickable inconsistency spotted!

Also in Altogether - William garners kind of a nervous smile when he asks Julia to go out for a walk, too. I don't think that counts, though, since it's obvious something is wrong.

snacky, I was thinking of the wrong episode...actually, he did do the "happy thing" in "Confederate Treasure" but I had another image in mind.  This one is from "Dial M for Murdoch" and is when his phone tapping device worked out.  Here's a screencap to make up for my mistake:

Hahaha, thanks for finding that. I couldn't find the happy in Confederate Treasure, but I thought I should add it for diplomacy's sake, lol. Thanks for finding what you actually meant. I agree he looks so happy there! And plus there is a happy moment in Confederate Treasure, when William is recognized by the Prime Minister at the end.

I'm totally watching this ep tonight just for this scene.
