At the end of The Return of Sherlock Holmes, Julia reassures William that Sherlock is only "almost" as good as the "Great Detective Murdoch". Then William offers to escort Julia home.

How many people think that Julia invited William in, and he proceeded to show her what a "great detective" he can be?

You could almost see the wink, wink, nudge, nudge as he offered Julia his arm.

I could not get this scenario out of my head today. Julia might invite William in to investigate the Mystery of the Dissatisfied Doctor. Then a number of awkward pick-up lines ensue such as "Where shall I start the investigation?" Various bits of clothing need to be removed because they may be hiding clues, etc.
