I want Dr. Grace and George to reunite, marry? His girl friend of now (who cares for the little boy) is so "washed out," and NOT engaging of a character at all. Was better "tension" and interest between George and Dr. Grace!!! I heartily disagree! IMHO, Emily was patronizing and mean to George, and their interaction was stiff and unnatural. George and Edna interact more naturally physically, and I love how he becomes a man next to her. The only thing I dislike about Edna is the way she always formally calls George: "George Crabtree". That's a bit off-putting. How do you think Edna could turn up the heat if she's too "washed out"?

Edna may be 'washed out' as you say but at least she treats him like a man not a little boy. I don't really understand why people ship George and Emily.

I can see George and Emily's relationship evolving into that of 2 very close and supportive friends, who know there is no future of a romantic relationship, but who care very deeply for each other........it is obvious that Emily was very concerned and upset over George's possible connection with Sgt. Brooks' murder and arrest......I suspect she will be instrumental in clearing him in season 9......

But, you're allowed to have your own opinion. But I am curious, if anyone does ship Gemily, what is it that attracts you?

Unfortunately I'm not so sure that ship has sailed, I think there were hints that it hadn't in the finale. I completely agree that they didn't suit romantically, and Emily treated George badly. They are much better as friends and colleague's, S8 proved that. It's the only way they have any equality between them. If Edna isn't George's future then I really hope it's anyone but Emily.
I've honestly never really understood why any viewer would ship George/Emily. There isn't good chemistry or a romantic repore between them. Emily quickly got bored while she was with him and had her attention diverted very easily. That's a terrible basis for a longterm relationship.

"You can’t do this for every show. It has to be a world-building, self-contained show that has a lore and rules to it,” says Bennett. This is what I've been saying the ultimate "cult" appeal of MM would be. I noticed last year that the set-visit did have the meticulousness of people who had an immersive mmorpg experience somewhere in the back of their minds. This has really been enabling for the variety of types of Smoke Bomb productions as well. I'm glad they pushed the limits! Unfortunately I've had a terribly busy month and still need to catch up on all the episodes myself. Actually going to the events would be fun, but the web series itself sadly isn't very good or very engrossing. It doesn't compare to the past ones. Too much fan interaction and not enough MM.

Yeah...as any of the events aren't near me geographically, I don't feel that I can participate, and I'm waiting until it's concluded before I play. That said, if you are local and get to visit these "crime scenes" and play detective, it seems like a lot of fun. But, I'll patiently await the end. Has anyone here gone? Did you take photos?

If Edna isn't George's future then I really hope it's anyone but Emily. The problem with that is they would have to introduce another new character. We saw last season what happened when there were too many characters to juggle, the show got off track. I vote for George either still being with Edna or taking a year off romantically. We don't need any new characters next season, in fact we need to get back to basics and more interaction between the core characters. They finally got it right last season but unfortunately it took until the last ep to do it!

I have to admit to not being very enthused but I have peeked in on the game as it's gone along. I was waiting till it was over to actually play. I came to Nightmare on Queen St. way after it finished and really enjoyed playing as I didn't have to wait. I'm not good at waiting! I was toying with going to the last event next weekend but decided against it. I can buy a whole lot of drywall for what it would cost me to go up for an hour's entertainment. There again I went up for the 100th ep ... but that was different! I did want to go to Gooderham & Worts as I haven't been in years but I decided I can do that anytime.

I think they can be even better friends - even BFFs - with the relationship awkwardness out of the way.

PM hinted George misunderstood the crime scene that he's martyring himself over: so if neither Edna nor Simon were involved in the murder, there may be hope for that relationship yet.

Yes I went to the first one in Toronto at the Roundhouse yard. I did take some pictures but it was all the same stuff you can see on line. It was fun and interesting, if you did not expect any of the cast to be there. I think some people did. It is like a series of puzzles that you have to solve. That said, I have not really kept up as diligently as some people have. But I will go to the Distillery District this Saturday, the 16th, for the conclusion.
