If Edna isn't George's future then I really hope it's anyone but Emily. The problem with that is they would have to introduce another new character. We saw last season what happened when there were too many characters to juggle, the show got off track. I vote for George either still being with Edna or taking a year off romantically. We don't need any new characters next season, in fact we need to get back to basics and more interaction between the core characters. They finally got it right last season but unfortunately it took until the last ep to do it! What Lies Buried still remains the strongest ep the season, IMHO, and that didn't have any shipping in it - not even Jilliam (though I think there does need to be some "proof of marriage" happening as well).

Yeah...as any of the events aren't near me geographically, I don't feel that I can participate, and I'm waiting until it's concluded before I play. That said, if you are local and get to visit these "crime scenes" and play detective, it seems like a lot of fun. But, I'll patiently await the end. Has anyone here gone? Did you take photos? Yes I went to the first one in Toronto at the Roundhouse yard. I did take some pictures but it was all the same stuff you can see on line. It was fun and interesting, if you did not expect any of the cast to be there. I think some people did. It is like a series of puzzles that you have to solve. That said, I have not really kept up as diligently as some people have. But I will go to the Distillery District this Saturday, the 16th, for the conclusion. I hope you do go if you can. Funding for such things probably relies on people showing up. btw, does William and Julia ever show up or is this a Very Special Crabtree Mystery?

I have to admit to not being very enthused but I have peeked in on the game as it's gone along. I was waiting till it was over to actually play. I came to Nightmare on Queen St. way after it finished and really enjoyed playing as I didn't have to wait. I'm not good at waiting! I was toying with going to the last event next weekend but decided against it. I can buy a whole lot of drywall for what it would cost me to go up for an hour's entertainment. There again I went up for the 100th ep ... but that was different! I did want to go to Gooderham & Worts as I haven't been in years but I decided I can do that anytime. LOL, you need to start bundling your weekend getaway packages!

I have to admit to really enjoying The Artful Detective. We were finally back to what MM used to be. A good mystery, a GREAT invention and all the main cast working together to solve the case. It may very well have beaten What Lies Buried into second place.

I haven't gotten to my second viewing of The Artful Detective yet - that will be coming in a few weeks with eclair. But I enjoyed it a lot on first viewing, so you might be right. Because I started watching MM with Ovation's The Artful Detective, I do a double-take whenever I see that ep title!

You get some reports from William and Emily in the evidence, but that's about it. The footage part is very short and not very interesting. That's why I find the web series a disappointment. The past ones were about the show, this barely is. I was hoping for more. For me The Artful Dectective is above What Lies Buried. That was a very well written and acted episode, but I have others that I've preferred this season.

WLB was the best ep of the series until TAD came along. TAD just hit all the right notes for me and jumped to #1. At least until I do another marathon and remember all the other eps I love.

Sort of threw it in Ovation's 'face' on how stupid a title it is.

The wrestling episode was the best this series. I'm not into wrestling so it didn't do much for me.

The wrestling episode was the best this series. I'm not into wrestling so it didn't do much for me. I don't like wrestling, however, I enjoyed this episode, as it explored the whole thing about reality being very different from perception, plus both William and George investigating a world completely alien to them.......and, of course, seeing George so happy with Edna at the end, then seeing what happened in subsequent episodes......
