Hello everyone! Thought I'd introduce myself as I'm a 'newbie'  I'm a big fan of the show. I can honestly say I got into the show around series 5 ( yes, shocking!! ). My Mum was watching MM and told me to look out for the handsome man playing Murdoch. For once she was right and ever since I was hooked. Then when I realised Alibi ( Yes i'm a UK fan! ) constantly did re-runs of all the series, I went back and watched them all. Nowdays I am a full on fan ( I adore Jilliam!!  ). Love the show so much and enjoy watching everyone's fan videos on youtube and fictions. Look forward to talking to you all. Laura XXX |

I hope people in the US will start doing the same.  I also started watching MM because of my Mom (I spotted it first, but I thought it was a show she might like). She does indeed like it, but I like it more! When she visits me this summer, we will probably watch Season 7 together since I couldn't buy the DVDs from Amazon. What part of the UK are you from? |

I'm very grateful for my Mum to getting me into the show. Now it's me who reminds her to watch the re-runs I live in the lovely London! I do enjoy hearing Brackenreid making UK references. Haha X |

Haha X I spent my junior year of college in England - best year of my life. The only bad thing about London was the air quality. If you wiped your hand across your face, your fingers would come away black! I hope that's improved. My favorite thing besides the history and the architecture were those caramel shortcakes with chocolate on top. I'm mystified as to why those never caught on in coffee shops in the U.S. It would be great if more MM eps had English "crossovers". The Murdoch Identity is one of my favorite episodes. I'm not sure how much (if any) of that episode was actually filmed in Bristol, though. |
