Julia is the only woman who has the ability to push the boundaries of William's comfort zones and notions of propriety. She'll accomplish it gently but progressively.
Julia's new line of work is perfect for getting us a thorough exploration of William's 'dark places'.
She probably will keep Ogden but I don't think he would expect any different even if his wishes were different. Ohhh, Mrs. Murdoch is his top-hat, corsette wearing mistress. A verbal cue in the lexicon of their marriage. Maybe she will opt for Dr. Ogden-Murdoch! Or maybe not...that creeps into the realm of defining herself by her relationship to a man.

OMG, I love Mrs. Murdoch as a term of endearment, or better yet, a nookie code phrase! I agree Julia is not going to let herself be defined by her relationship to a man, though, even William. I had a pleasant thought earlier about Julia finding William's copy of Burton amidst the wedding unpacking. William discovers her reading it, which flusters him completely. Julia won't give up the book, and instead suggests that William read it to her. She snuggles close while he makes the attempt, but he doesn't get very far... </mini ficlet>

Well that's enough to give a girl happy dropping-off to sleep material! You really should write some fan fic...and don't go on with you being lazy. Your imagination is off the charts. There's nothing to stop you from writing both the Arabian Nights and zipper stories as wedding night or honeymoon scenarios. They would both be fantastic!

I'm claiming to perform a whole new genre of mini-fic (zipfic - hahahaha), a form of concept art where I just deal out the gist of a fun scenario here on a forum without going through the time, effort, and editing sweat of churning out a full-fledged fic. That way you can provide your own imaginative details to realize the scene as you best see fit. zipper~

Remember the old 1940's movies? You always knew when the good stuff was going to happen when the camera panned to the window and the moon. The next shot is the sun streaming through the window. In 1902 we probably won't even get the window shot!!

I've been reading CosmicCavalcade's work and it's having almost the same effect as 'liquid courage'.

I've been reading CosmicCavalcade's work and it's having almost the same effect as 'liquid courage'. Dang, I still need to set aside some time for that. I'm still in major multi-task mode: easier to do forums when I'm switching around. When I take a break, I go out and take a book with me. I don't even have a cellphone. Anyway that's hovering at the top of my list: "Emily the sapphist" first.
