My Mom hasn't seen any of Season 7, and we will have some time to watch a few episodes of MM when she comes to visit me. Which are the highlights of the season? These spring to mind for me:
Murdoch Ahoy
Tour de Murdoch
Murdoch of the Living Dead
Loch Ness Murdoch
Murdoch in Ragtime
Unfinished Business
The Murdoch Sting
The Spy Who Came Up to the Cold
The Death of Dr. Ogden
That's already too many, and I liked all the others, too! D:

You've got to add Kung Fu Crabtree...it was hilarious! Your list certainly hits the highlights but if you must pare it down, I would forego Murdoch of the Living Dead, The Murdoch Sting and perhaps Tour de Murdoch but he looked so cute in his riding gear, sigh. When will your mom be visiting?

When will your mom be visiting? Hmmm there was a reason I liked Kung Fu Crabtree less, but I forgot why. D: Maybe it's because the bit with Noir William at the end seemed tacked on. Perhaps I should find out if my Mom is on Team George, Team Brackenreid, or Team William before I go any further! D: (If you think I was prejudiced by that tight riding gear, you would be correct!) Ps. I have until mid-July to decide, I think. |

Well that's more than enough time to watch them all again. Do you think your mom might be amused by Margaret in Kung Fu? She was my favourite part of that episode. Definitely find out who your mom is behind (or who's behind your mom enjoys most XD and use that to guide your choices. Even so, your current list has 9 episodes so that's a little over 6 hours worth of watching. How long is she staying?

Do you think your mom might be amused by Margaret in Kung Fu? How long is she staying? Oooh, good point about Margaret! Righting the ship for Moms everywhere! She's only staying a week, and I don't know how much of that time will be spent indoors, hanging around my computer. I should probably have a mini list and maxi list prepared. |

Definitely a good plan. One other thing to consider...How important is the Leslie Garland as James Gillies arc to you and/or your mom since it crosses over multiple episodes.

Mom has yet to comment to me about James Gillies, and it's possible she doesn't even know that's an arc yet since I only got her Season 5 and 6 for Mother's Day. She hasn't commented to me at all about it. I don't know that she's particularly a "shipper" either. Whenever I've tried to start a conversation, I've just gotten confirmation that she's really enjoying MM and has finished Season 4. I guess I'll have to ask some very careful (non-spoiling) questions. XD |

Oh but you are so good at fact finding.
How did you get season 6 already? I preordered it on Amazon in January and it's release date has been changed 3 times. Now it says June 17th.

At the time I ordered 6, there was a warning that they were almost "out of stock". I guess they weren't kidding! I saw it later for a lower price, and that pissed me off. I hate the way Amazon screams that this is the best deal you will ever get for DVDs and then promptly turns around and issues a better deal. >.<
