CBC is giving Johnny Harris his own gig!

CBC has posted its fall lineup.  Lo and behold, a new show called "Of All Places" stars our own Johnny Harris
as he finds humour in the mundane of small-town Canada.  The reporter implied this format to be a pale relative of The Rick Mercer Report but I think Johnny will do a fantastic job.  Rick Mercer's show has very political overtones with amusing 'man on site' reports thrown in.  It sounds like "Of All Places" will focus more on people and places than Mercer.  It's quite obvious when you watch any interviews or out-takes from MM that Johnny is the laughmeister of the group. Now he'll get to spread it around! Congrats Johnny!!

Actually, I don't really follow his career much outside of MM, but I'm very happy for him nonetheless.
