It's a dark and stormy night. A lonely light burns in the tower of stately Beaton Hall. Suddenly, lightening flashes across the sky and a bloodcurdling scream is heard. Chauncey Beaton runs down the halls of the mansion from an unseen pursuer. He comes to a Juliet balcony and realizes he has nowhere else to go. Murdoch arrives at the scene, where Chauncey's body lies crumpled on the paving stones. He obviously fell from the balcony but did he jump or was he pushed?

"Eye contact is very powerful. You can always tell when someone is looking at you."

Craig Grant has posted on FB that he and Paul Aitkin were 2 of the Beaton family death masks......It is also one of Craig's hands holding the magnifying glass scanning the newspaper in the opening credits.

Really? How interesting! Wonder if they've said who owns the foot in the opening credits. *grin*

Another ep a day!
1. I forgot how much I liked the casual William & Julia scene at the beginning! I went back and watched it twice.
2. Heh. I loved the "George Crabtree Philosophy".
3. It's kind of fun to have them investigating ghosts!
4. This episode had an excellent story to follow! So many people to suspect!
5. It's kind of a bummer that this episode contradicts The Murdoch Trap a little bit.

This episode has one of my favourite lines from Brackenreid...."I'm from Yorkshire, there are more ghosts than sheep..."

5. It's kind of a bummer that this episode contradicts The Murdoch Trap a little bit. How so? They make a point that things like eye contact with the masks just isn't possible yet the masks in The Murdoch Trap are so real to the point that it was part of what was gonna send Julia to hang.

Has anyone noticed the plastic water bottle on the table in episode 10, Curse of Beaton Manor?
