I am on the wait list too. The only reason I am on Facebook is MM. That is how I got to go to the showing of Loch Ness Murdoch with the cast in attendance at the Bell Lightbox last November. My avatar picture was taken that day. That must have been pure luck. I was reading MM twitter tonight and they say they are going to try to schedule another open house in the fall, after they see how this one goes. I too am tempted to go and "hang around" but I am much too shy. I really dislike Facebook otherwise: too confusing. And I won't even try Twitter. I'll leave that to my kids. I find twitter too intimidating with all it's posting formats. I was on FB mostly because I'm in a closed group with my extended family. I usually just checked in with MMcbc and clicked the links. After I missed that announcement I was ticked off enough to get on with it. You wanna be shy with me? I'll go if you will! Sorry I did not answer last night. I had to sleep! Are you there now?

I am on the wait list too. OMG, not you too eus. I should have opened this thread myself when I first got my tickets. I shouldn’t have kept my excitement to myself. I would have been able to give my spare ticket to one of you now. Aarrgghh well ….. Oh well. Thanks for thinking of us. These local events are available to only a few people on this board, so my thinking was not to gloat over the fact that I could go when so many others can't because of geography and time. I am looking forward to hearing all about it !

Here's sort of something but not really. Gloat much? OMG, I'm so embarrassed (yet again) on behalf of America, lol. It's like she went to Canada to hug Yannick in front of her poor husband Ed. I feel totally sorry for that poor guy. On the other hand, I guess I have to say she's sort of representative of America: loud and hogging the camera over something totally trivial. Ps. Got to hand it to Yannick for not taking one look and fleeing the scene. Maybe he thought American distribution depended on showing that woman a good time. PPs. I believe my point is made that MM is an entry point for Toronto tourism, though...

Trust me, he's had worse ladies after him. And I think the person I'm thinking of is going to be attacking him again tomorrow. I'm sure he remembers her. It'll be interesting to see whether he runs this time. Poor, poor gentle soul. For some reason I think Yannick would have made a good poet.

I totally respect Yannick's attitude toward and treatment of women. I wrote an ode to it in the actor section because I'd always just assumed he'd be a jerk based on his looks (when I'd seen him in other roles). I'd still kind of like to see him interviewed by a men's magazine in America. Even if half of it is a professional "brand", I still think it's an admirable one (and a good model for our not-so-great American men who learn all about manhood from reality TV and rap songs).

You wrote an ode to something? Le gasp! Speaking figuratively! (Which means I just wrote an ode to an ode?)

Here's sort of something but not really. Gloat much? btw, where is your original source for this? I'd be interested in seeing the Canadian commentary.

You' re leaving us hanging with that? I've been watching the twitter feed all day! New info, avec gushing please.!!! I am sorry folks. Didn’t mean to leave you hanging (well, just a little bit). This is the story of my life. I never get the chance to sit still for half an hour, that’s why you don’t see me here everyday. I didn’t sleep at all last night and don’t ask what I’ve been doing. Anyway, like I said, I had a great time. I met Mrs B and she was ever so sweet. I didn’t see Yannick as I was in the last group for the day and after his encounter with the lady in the video, I am not surprised he made a hasty retreat before my group got there. Here’s what the Pendrick Bullet now looks like. I got a ride in it as well. There was quite a lot of fans and there was the longest queue leading to Murdoch’s office even though he was not there. Not many wanted to hang out in the morgue, mostly the kids did and their parents had to wait around for them. Unfortunately, most of the photos I took indoors were blurry and I only took still photos, no videos. I got to meet Shelley the skeleton as well. He didn't seem pleased to see anyone but he did let me take a photo and said to say hi to you all. Yannick had been in Niagara Falls for the day and got back in time for the 3rd group, I think. I took more photos in the back lot and they turned out a bit better than the ones indoors. I'll post them as I go along. Any questions?
