Murdoch is drawn into the naughty world of Victorian erotica and blackmail when he investigates the murder of Abigail Tunstall, a young woman who'd been posing for 'salacious' photographs. Interviews with Abigail's friends and family and the discovery of one of her erotic photos help Murdoch zero in on the location where the pictures were taken – a studio owned by a photographer named Marcus Evans. When Murdoch searches through photo collections for clues to Abigail's murder he makes a startling discovery – one of McHugh's erotic models is none other than Sally Pendrick, the vivacious and beautiful wife of Murdoch's nemesis, the rich and powerful industrialist James Pendrick.

This was an interesting one. So Sally Pendrick had a dark past. Not surprised. The first time I saw her in the Art theft ep. I thought there was more to her than met the eye. She was just too experienced not to have had a few notches in her belt. Very naughty gal, I like her though, and hope we see her again.
Something that caught my attention more than Sally Pendrick was the Mystery Man they could not identify. I think that was intended. I wonder when he will turn up and what his story will be. With the theme of secrets being revealed in S8, I had thought they might reveal who he is. Still hopeful.

Another ep a day!
1. I'm glad Julia is around to let William know when his views are a bit off.
2. "The paper stock sir, it's the first thing I noticed." Heh. George did a funny.
3. William sometimes has tunnel vision. He sets his mind on someone's guilt and that's it for him.
4. I always thought William was way too interested in Sally. I'm surprised she didn't get jealous since she had so much in the past.
5. William should have known about the one-way mirror in The Murdoch Effect!
