Hi everyone! I'm an American fan from New York. I love, love, LOVE Murdoch Mysteries; it's my fav show. I watch it on Ovation. Unfortunately, we are way behind our Canadian friends with regard to what season's episodes they're showing now. We get a "new" episode every Sat., night, and they do show past shows during the week, but I've seen them all! I NEED THE NEW ONES!!! Anyway, it's nice to make everyone's acquaintance, and I'm so glad to be able to connect w/other MM fans. Did I say that I'm also in love w/Yannick Bisson??!!

Oh hi there - just saw this.  Someone else who watches on Ovation just told us that some of the scenes are cut from those episodes, though.  What season is Ovation up to now? |

OMG!! Scenes cut? That must mean the Puritans are still lurking around here, doing their dirty work...
I'm really not sure what season we're in here; I think it's either 5 or 6. We're so behind!

It's probably just because they need more time for commercials. But I think that's one of the reasons why Ovation had to change the title to The Artful Detective: if they are cutting out scenes, they are making substantial changes to the show. |

Someone mentioned that, but I don't know that it's true. I know that BBC America has done it to fit in commercials, but it's just not necessary for MM-the eps are only 43 mins-meaning there's time for commercials. Of course, I don't watch my eps on Ovation anymore, so I don't know if this is true for sure-but the eps I did watch on Ovation this past summer didn't seem cut. |
