I saw on Yannick's Twitter that someone was getting MM on CBS Atlanta. I checked their schedule, and they totally picked it up for weekend syndication. I never thought local stations would be able to afford it. Wrote them to ask whether just their station purchased it, or whether it was some larger distributing entity that acquires syndication content for local CBS stations.

I didn't see any announcement at all about this US syndication when I tried googling MM news. This raises the same old question: how is anybody supposed to find out anything...

This raises the same old question: how is anybody supposed to find out anything... Looks like MOR is an independent station, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WMOR-TVI have a feeling seasons 1-4 are being distributed separately. These syndications really should be announced in some way. It's hard to find stuff on US TV because of massive cable packages. "Discoverability" is extremely important. This should be pinned in the Facebook book groups, in the News section here, posted on random social media news sites, etc.

Yannick's twitter feed showed another one - KABC in Los Angeles. And someone mentioned the CW in Hawaii and some channel in St. Louis, Missouri.
So obviously MM is available for syndication in the US now. The question is - how to find out which stations have picked it up?
All the evidence I have seen shows it runs late at night, and there is probably no advertising at all. How do people know MM is there?

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! MM is already running on several local channels. It's already started! Why does nobody tell me these things. I finally figured it out from using the over-complicated Dish TV search mechanism, which was incredibly hard to find. I would never have found this out through channel surfing since MM is running late at night. KRON 4 is an independent channel in the Bay Area. It used to be a network channel, but then it get it dumped and became a channel dedicated to "local news". How could KRON not tell anyone it was syndicating MM@ I'm so bummed I missed the first three episodes on regular TV.

Further waaaaaaaaaaaa! While I was googling for syndication announcements, I found some locations were airing Murdoch Mysteries in syndication at reasonable times. For instance, some channel in Fresno is airing MM at 6pm on Sundays. Anyway, the best way to find local stations that picked up MM for syndication in the US - and there are MANY - is to go to TVguide.com. Go to their listings page: www.tvguide.com/Listings/Select "Antenna" to get the names of the actual local channels. Select your cable or satellite providers to find where the channels are on your TV. Chances are that MM runs late at night over the weekend. But apparently some places are airing it during the daytime. I wonder if this was advertised in any way besides local papers.

The CW affiliate channel in the Twin Cities area is showing it Saturday night at 8:00. And they started advertising it on their channel a few weeks before.

I wish they would do this in the Bay Area - I think the audience would be a pretty large one here, as well. Advertising!!! !!! I hope it's successful!
