No pic. Which one? However, I love love love the circa 1908 one at the bottom: www.vintagetextile.com/new_page_726.htmSeriously, it makes we want to get married again. I'm not kidding. Plus, the Commodore Perry connection is a nice link as well and of particular interest given I live in Japan. You can't see the pic I inserted? Hmm, I think I reached my upload limit, but I'll try. ...nope can't upload anymore, sorry. You can't see this below? Here's the catalog page: www.vintagetextile.com/new_page_292.htm

Wa the first two links are the same! Yes I do hope all these dresses (and lingeries) are firing up the fanfic imagination! I still like the slim-line wedding dresses on Julia, but that's probably an anachronistic dream. The silvery or tea-dyed colors aren't, though, since this is her second marriage. I got so confused by all the categories of nightwear that I flashed on William going through all the layers on honeymoon night and categorizing what the various layers are as he goes along...

For future reference, you can change your fanfic setting so that you get to moderate the anon reviews first before they get posted. I've never really needed to use this feature myself but I just thought you might like to know it's an option.

Of course, I can't find it now. But it had some futuristic sleeves-but I checked, and it said House of Worth, 1902. It was a pale green. Pretty. I love idea of Julia in a 1930's number-like this: www.polyvore.com/ivory_silk_bias_cut_1930s/thing?id=11032995But, it's anachronistic. I want it to be Julia, but just different enough from what she normally wears to stun him. He should never see it coming, and it should be scandalous! So scandalous, that there won't be a need for wedding night lingerie-he'll be trying to get that thing off of her as soon as they walk through the door. Which is exactly what she wants. She's going to bait him, and this time, there will be no reason to behave himself.

I've already made that setting, but I approved it anyway because it wasn't inflammatory or contain any hate speech. But, it annoyed me. I'm over it now.

For future reference - is the camisole and the bloomers and the corset worn under the negligee and the peignoir, or is nothing worn under the negligee. It seems like bloomers would be a bit bulky under those sheer negligees...
