"Hey, you know that place where I've suffered unfairly on account of my gender, and also got sentenced to death for a crime I didn't commit? Let's undertake a deeply symbolic ritual that shows our commitment to one another there."-said no girl ever. They may as well honeymoon down in the morgue or the jail cells. Extremely unromantic. Lol! Fallenbelle you're not too taken with the idea of a civil service, I gather? When I saw the previews on TV for Episode 100, it looked like they were also going to have a civil service as well as the church service? Perhaps it was William's idea as a nod to Julia for arranging a church wedding, showing each respects the other's beliefs/values? LOL! I'm not saying that it has to be a big frou frou religious affair, but some beauty and romance please?

That's from the Cambridge shoot this summer They also had "William and Julia" riding down the street together on a horse...sooooooo maybe the Cambridge shoot was not the real wedding either? A short time later, I believe they were filming in Waterdown at a lovely old home and a picture was posted. There was a large crowd with everyone milling about on the porch and lawn and all were in character. I assumed at the time that it was the wedding reception hosted by the Brackenried's maybe? In the pic Julia was standing chatting with the Inspector on the lawn and was in regular dress (not a wedding dress). Guess I need to find the photo now, so you folks know what I'm referring to. I thought they also re-used William's nightmare from Air Murdoch...?

What are the chances that William and Julia get tired of all the crazy surrounding their wedding that they end up eloping quietly. If they do that hopefully it with the priest at the church and not the court house. i have a funny feeling they end the episode with them getting married and episode 5 is their honeymoon in New York. I am not sure how I would feel about it being done that way but I would be happy it's finally done. I personally think the preview where Julia says let get married, they a remaking it look like the final clip. But I think they are doing that on purpose. I think that preview will come towards the end and then they show them getting married finally after lots of hi-jinks. ( really hoping it's done in a comedic fashion). I can't help but think they wouldn't send out those invitation to the wedding and then not have the real wedding in the episode. I keep laughing at myself, I am female but really bummed that this episode is pushed back for an election. ? I think the previews are implying that William and Julia end up eloping. (And William will need some major analysis regarding these wedding nightmares). But it would still be a terrible bummer if they don't have a formal wedding.

If you can find it-that would be cool. She wasn't wearing a red dress, was she? Am am I the only one who thinks a courthouse quickie is a bad idea because helloooooo-she's been on trial there, got sentenced to death there, and it's just generally unromantic? Small garden wedding=beautiful! Courthouse=horror! It doesn't have to be a blowout (in fact I don't think it's very them at all) but something with a little more beauty. I just searched all over but couldn't find it ...blah! I'll try again on Saturday. I know it's "out there" somewhere. It might have been Dundas and not Waterdown but I've searched using both towns names. I can't recall what colour dress Julia was wearing and I think Emily was on the porch perched on the railing and George was there and, well everybody... for sure it was a gathering of some sort. The bride would be expected to change into a regular dress for the reception, especially if there was going to be travel right after. But given the preview evidence, this increases the likelihood of a "less formal" wedding.

Thing is, I would have been fine with such an affair if they had just randomly decided to elope at the end of a random episode, but now that they've built it up, I'm kinda annoyed at being trolled. I think that's what I'm annoyed at.

Someone posted this fan made video for Holy Matrimony Murdoch! Gotta just love George!! This is super-dark-angst-ridden-loved-by-snacky-heart-stopping-for-shippers fanfic. Well done. Anyone we know? LOL I thought this was an actual CBC commercial before I went back in posts far enough! Great job! I have missie-stark in my Buzz Feed video list, but I don't know who she is my fan community. If she's listening, I hope she polishes up the ragtime video a bit - that one is my fave, but has a little talking-head-itis going on.

I saw this on my News Feed and all the excitment just came rushing back! I love how Mrs. Brackenreid has basically taken over the whole 'do. Mrs BRACKENREID is so excited than when she leaves Julia, she hums the wedding march as Inspector SLORACH did in the first episode.
The Inspector said: ONE OF THEM gets a ring...

Oh, still a sad excuse of a dress. What we have to keep in mind is that daytime wear, even for a bride, required full length sleeves. William looks adorable as usual. The high fitting collar is also required? Look at the wedding dress of Dr QUINN. Wow that is a crazy lot of ruffles. Less is more where Julia is concerned.

The Inspector said: ONE OF THEM gets a ring... I caught that, but the romantic in me was hoping that Julia would surprise him with his own ring. The CP has had one in 801&802 most recently, so it's not unheard of.
