It was really interesting watching Yannick become William. He arrived on set in his suit, topcoat and lime green running shoes. Once the blocking was done he put on his homburg, still with the runners on, lol, so he was a bit of both. Then he switched shoes and William appeared. It was incredible to watch. I'm still squishy inside  . Ooh that means you saw some actual scene being filmed. You know more than you're telling!  |

The best part of the whole day???!!!! I got my pic taken with Yannick...still swooning 4 hours later  . As far as spoilers go, the title of the ep is Election Day. Suffragettes want to vote, nuf said  . Wow - how fun, he had enough time! Did you get the hug, too? (hehe) I wonder if you can put it in photobucket with a password so we can take a peek?  I just started reading a book about the suffragette movement. The basic issue was that women wanted the vote because without it men could just ignore their "petitions": without the vote, women couldn't effect whether they got elected or not. However, because they didn't have the vote, women didn't have any leverage to get the vote. For years all they were in a "tea party rut" where all they could do was hold meetings and pass out educational propaganda. Things only began to change when they started intervening in local elections and affecting whether local candidates could get elected or not. Their whole experience proves that people never get anywhere just by asking cooperating and asking nicely. *sigh* I didn't get a hug but when someone told him how far I'd come he did kinda squeeze a little tighter  . I'll send you the pic. |

I'm still squishy inside . I knew they'd be there again today and I thought about going. Must have been tired last night, I got up way too late to bother.  Maybe there will be another chance - you do live in the ground zero Toronto area, after all! Plus you can claim a great grandmother connection!  |

We'll just have to work at it for next season. I really enjoyed the day, except for the cold. I'll bet Eus would come too during the summer. Well barring CBC not renewing it looks like there'll be another season so it's a date! I think Sue would love to come too, think it would be a great day out. I have to admit, earlier in the season is better for me. I don't go too far if there's a possibility of snow, apparently there was some in London this morning. Wouldn't have stopped me as I wouldn't have known till I got there. You may be be able to bribe Yannick with puppies! |

I knew they'd be there again today and I thought about going. Must have been tired last night, I got up way too late to bother. Maybe there will be another chance - you do live in the ground zero Toronto area, after all! Plus you can claim a great grandmother connection! Yannick's cuter than Igor IMHO. For the record, I live east of Toronto and most of the filming takes place about an hour's drive west of the city. I sent the pic to that email address from PM. |
