Someone should watch through the series during the hiatus and make a list of every time the killer was shown/interviewed in the first scene. I'm kinda curious about this now. This is SO not on my spread sheet!! That's something I may take on if there's a hiatus long enough to do it.

Ooh I see - Windsor House is the fancy hotel in Toronto now with the initials WH, so that seems to be the one that MM is trying to evoke on the show? Not quite sure what they're trying to invoke. I'm surprised they didn't have them living at the Queen's Hotel but there was definitely WH on the door when William entered the hotel so that suggests they're living at the Windsor House. Maybe we'll get to see later when we see the ep that was filmed at the Walper. Naaa. They covered up the Walper sign with Windsor Hotel. Too many technical details for me to put up the twitter feed from some time in August. (Ok I've finished a bottle of wine and my techie skills are minimal at best when completely sober.) Feel free to googe the Walper Hotel, Kichener, ON, "images" for lovely pics.

I was thinking she just took off her jacket. But maybe her corset, too. The whole point of tea dresses is that women couldn't really relax and eat dinner in corsets! I was just thinking the blouse and skirt were a bit more flattering. As for eating in a corset, I'll agree. I ate little at my wedding reception because my dress (with built in corset) and my long bra really squashed that part of my body. Sitting was also uncomfortable, but that's probably because I wasn't sitting correctly. Still, it made me appreciate how restrictive women's clothing used to be. My evening in a period costume for the 100th ep has left we with a completely new appreciation for what our predecessors endured on a daily basis.

I apologize for nitpicking - it's just because I like to try to research. Did the sign the MM crew put up say "Windsor House Hotel"?

It was well worth the endurance though, the dress was gorgeous!

Did the sign the MM crew put up say "Windsor House Hotel"? Yes, the sign covering the Walper Hotel sign above the doorway said Windsor House Hotel. The doors just had WH on them but that could be for Windsor House rather than Windsor Hotel.

Thank you for clarifying that! Okay, so all my Walker House research is for naught, then. I'll see if I can find any threads tying Windsor House Hotel to historic Toronto. (Not sure why they just didn't use Walker House, though...it was the glamorous "House of Plenty" after all...")

Here's a pic from someone that rents a store from the Walper. Interestingly this was taken in August but the scene where William is riding up to the doors actually takes place at this entrance, the doorman is the same. I wonder if they filmed the scene on this day but edited it into the ep that was filmed in July.
