Julia's a real man eater. I have to ask why...if MM can do nice promo pics like Helene with the ties or Yannick doing his dance moves...can't stuff like this be corralled into a calendar instead of the random screencaps? That would take an effort and I'm thinking they weren't ready to put any into it. Of course the calendar may have been put together by the company that published it and as usual was done by someone that wasn't a MM fan. If you want something done right ask the fans to do it!

I see: they just paid some minor licensing fee to MM and then put the calendar out? Dang, that means they will probably handle the guidebook that way, too.

The calendar has Wyman Publishing on the back.

I hope if they do a guidebook they'll put some effort into it or it won't be worth buying. Though a lot of people would buy it anyway unfortunately. Note to Shaftesbury, if you're doing a guidebook please make sure anyone that puts it together at least WATCHES the show!!!!!!

This was written by my favorite writer. I knew it would be good whatever was in it, and it was. I do believe ziggy liked this ep! I wondered if it would hit the spot. It wasn’t great and no, it didn’t quite hit the “perfect spot” but it was alright .

I do believe ziggy liked this ep! I wondered if it would hit the spot. And after all that hand-wringing about another fluff ep based on schmoopy fan service... I expected the fan service so I was half prepared. I’ll be watching the upcoming ones through laced fingers for now because I think there’s more fan service/appreciation to come. The tie has yet to come off . But this was well done. I could see you and the rest of the gang here in that group of fans following William around. And the end was very familiar indeed .

While earlier seasons look better in retrospect to you, I wonder if you thought they were good then. They were cheaply made and often had plot holes. FallenBelle has declared Season 4 too angsty. I think Season 1 wandered a lot and YB did some weird line reading that didn't work. Season 2 and 3 were great - but so much shippiness ! And what about the cornball plots? What about Gillies? Perhaps your golden age never existed...?

I don't see any hardcore YB groupies here except to comment on his acting and twitter feed that he aims at fans. We've mostly been appalled at american style celebrity stalking behavior. So I think putting down the forum as a whole like that - which again is not mmas - is uncalled for.

Perhaps your golden age never existed...? Not in retrospect. S1 was what got me hooked on MM. I loved it then and still do. They may have been cheaply made, that was money problem. They could only have gotten better with sponsorship and experience. I found S2 very boring and it was my worst season until S6. S3 was a bit better than S2. It had a few good plots in there but it was still hard to get through. Too shippy like you say. But then came S4 which is my best season. I absolutely love S4, lol, and I am hoping that they will eventually get back to those days. S5 was good, at least most of it until toward the end and things haven’t been the same since then. It’s a totally different show I am watching these days.

I don't think they were aiming at MMAS fans specifically, but all the MM fans and the way we get all excited about the characters, not just William. I don't know that it is only the MMAS fans that are so clued in to MM and want to be part of everything MM.
