Thanks to randomkiwibirds, I snagged a screencap of the House of Eternal Return from Murdoch Mysteries. Cue the Twilight Zone music now, because half of the denizens of the Murdoch Mysteries universe have lived in this house, including Julia and Darcy. It's like Toronto is actually Dark City, and the citizens are living under a small domed space and perpetually being reshuffled every night... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_City_%281998_film%29OH NO, THE PROTAGONIST OF DARK CITY WAS NAMED MURDOCH!!! WHAT DOES IT MEAN???!!!! Here's the evil house. Please list below all the episodes where you spot this house. I've just freaked myself out with the notion that the protagonist of Dark City was named Murdoch. It really explains the house.

It's in Stroll on the Wild Side both Parts, definitely.
I think I might have just spied it in Twentieth Century Murdoch-in Williams future vision.

I remember the wife who was in the "open marriage" and got it on with the boxer was in a swing and/or playing croquet in front of the house while William questioned her.

This house was also used in the third MM movie as the house that Helene Joy's character lived in. I watched An Old Fashioned Thanksgiving this afternoon, also with Helene Joy, and there was the house again! It's sure been used a lot. I'm guessing it's in the Brantford/Cambridge area. Lovemonday's may know, she's got quite a few of the filming locations now.

Talking of houses in future vision it looks like quite the mansion the Murdoch's live in. Wonder who bought that! Maybe William finally got his promotion and Julia's psychiatry practice must be doing very well.

If it is the mansion the Future Murdochs live in and is the mansion where Julia taught contraception, then the Murdochs moved into one of Julia's properties after all.

I'd forgotten that. It's been a long time since I've seen this movie. Must watch it again, I think my daughter has it.

I haven't seen it in a long time either, but it's in the back of my head as one of my favorites of all time. Stylish neo-noir, too - kind of familiar theme there? Found a trailer with the buildings changing places in it.

I looks like it's set too far back on the property to be seen from the road...and I wouldn't want to encourage any crazed fans (looks innocently skyward) to trespass or bother the owners in any way. I will certainly keep it on my watch list for historic house tours though!
